My stepdad raised me and I have no deep feeling to know my bio dad. My mom was alcoholic and I know 10000% my bio dad is no one worth knowing. Anyone who's been with her knowing her substance abuse should've just left her alone.

"that's why I didn't say fuck you, that's why I didn't say here we go again..." And yet logic, from hearing that man talk for 12 and a half minutes I'm hit with the gut wrenching feeling that he hasn't evolved at all. Mainly because I have a grandfather like this. Any time I'd visit my home town he'd either ask me or my uncle for money. He gets to be selfish and irresponsible because he knows that he can bum off the people who have a deep rooted sense of family and "we have to take care of each other no matter what". Now I know every family is different, circumstances and perceptions. I might be projecting but that's what I see when I hear ya old man talk. He hasn't grown.

There aren’t enough mature people in these comments to understand that his dad is talking recovery and he is healing. A lot of people think he needs to get on his knees and say sorry while sobbing, the guy is actually apologizing but, a lot of people don’t hear it because they only hear themselves. I’ve lived this exact story and as a man I’ve forgiven my dad and I’ve let myself heal. The healing was my responsibility.

My father is a good man. But He made most of my life miserable though because I let him even past a certain age. I’m still in the fight. Iv wanted to walk away from my family because no one made sense to me. Who the fuck am I though? Am I flawless? No! I am not. Step away from yourself. Watch and observe. Now, when you see it. Except it 1. 2) Decided what you are willing to except. One day when that person’s gone forever, you will miss them. But if you could of had more time together? And you’ll realize that it was all on you. No it’s not all on you. But you do have control. Or you can’t control your life lol Btw If you were abused and something terrible happened to you I do understand this has no bearing. I’m sorry that something was taken from you. Sincerely. But I’m speaking for those and I’m sure the situation you envied because you were not as fortunate. But Some people do have that opportunity. My parents are both fucked up! My brother is insane. My sister is great but she’s wanted. as kids we hated each other. I still reach out. I get curb stomped most every time and my wife hates it. She doesn’t get it. But then I try again. I want to. And I don’t believe in god. I might go to hell if it exists though. But still I fucking try anyways. Not everyone hates you, nor is everyone out to get you. Be nice! What the fuck is the problem? Why is it so hard for you? Leave your ego at the door. The hard truth. When you get hit with it, you better learn from it. I’ll say this one last thing. Continue being miserable, continue treating everyone like they’re beneath you. Do whatever to disrupt others life’s. But When you go home, and you can’t understand why everything sucks! Go look in the mirror. And you better Fucking say oh!, I understand.

Comedy’s about facing real life situations. No one can just throw out there normally because it’s hard to mention. Hard truth all day. And we laugh because we’re sad and angry. It’s weird. But I always loved Comedy because I love to laugh. I could be wrong about that too. It’s my theory. But what I hate and Logic said it too. Was having to explain that your not trying to offend anyone before the joke is told. It’s bizarre. I hate it. And I feel for the Comedians.

This is a prime example of a person breaking out of his families chains and becoming successful in life, while the rest of his family stayed being complete disappointments and doing everything wrong in life, following paths of negativity, ignorance, narcissism, lazyness and failure. Now, that poor man Logic has to deal the duty his family thinks he has to give them money and help them and CARE about them. You gotta be F*ING CRAZY if you think he HAS to do that… he does NOT. I would’ve lost my patience a long time ago and said “F* YOU. Get TF out of my life especially for being the cause of its ruin.” If ANY of what happened to Logic, especially what his dad did to him, was done to me I WOULD HAVE SAID “F* OFF YOU UNAPPRECIATIVE NARCISSIST. BEGONE! SHOO! GOODBYE! ADIOS.” You guys realize the level of patience and control Logic has? It’s insane. He sits there willingly wanting to help his dad and the rest of the family knowing damn well they do nothing for him except bring him down like a 100 ton anchor on a SAILBOAT. WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE SO BLIND AND WHY DO SOME PEOPLE ACT LIKE B*ES AND EXPECT OTHERS TO HELP THEM? WHY ARE PEOPLE MEAN AND THINK ITS OKAY AND THAT THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO THAT AND GO THROUGH LIVE BEING MEAN AND SPREADING NEGATIVITY AND CHAOS AND RUINING PEOPLES LIVES? I don’t mean to be disrespectful but man, people think it’s our duty to bring people up with you and share our knowledge and success with other people and even if those people don’t deserve it. You guys are f*ing lucky you got people like Logic bro cause these are the types of people I don’t break a sweat to leave behind, let alone GIVE THEM MONEY OR HELP THEM OR ASK THEM TO DO SONGS TO PAY FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES ESPECIALLY IF THEY RUINED HIS LIFE AND STOLE HIS IDENTITY AND ASK HIM FOR EVERYTHING AND DO NOTHING FOR HIM. If I had a spaceship I would’ve moved to another planet years ago. I ain’t dealing with this shit no more 😂

After listening to the interview with Logic's father, I feel conflicted. The pain in Logic's voice is unmistakable, and it's clear that he felt the need to have this interview because he is still healing. It's natural to desire accountability from those who have hurt us, but it seems that Logic's father has caused a great deal of trauma. Reconnecting with his father and revisiting the past may only prolong the healing process. After the interview, it appears that he intends to offer financial assistance to his father, a gesture that I believe is unjust after messing up his credit. But Logic's decision to share his story is a testament to his intelligence and heart despite the difficult circumstances. Even though it's evident that he also needs to manage his father's emotions while providing comfort and reassuring him that this is a safe space during the interview, I can't help but feel that it's unfair for his father to believe still that Logic belongs to him or must sustain him. In these stories, children who grow up without their fathers often prove they are nothing like their fathers. However, they share certain similarities (good or bad) with their fathers, such as substance abuse or similar passions. Quite interesting.

Man I can’t believe this flew under my radar. Wounded kids turned into men would love a chance like this. Of course as a person who relates to his father figure choosing drugs and women over everything this is bittersweet interaction. This is generational thinking clashing at its finest. All the years this man Bobby had to hustle scrap and grind from nothing to something while he was alone in the family aspect, is the epitome of strength. He might be a little lost in how deep the cuts are but the emotions and memories that flood back over such a long time associated with a person comes back. You’re going to get lost in the moment. Yeah the bashing is harsh but it’s a double edged sword. Success breeds expectations which further distances you from trusting anyone especially people who suddenly find more value in love when they are successful is heartbreaking. I fully agree with Bobby he may have got his licks in that he festered over and got consumed by but that his right to get over this hurdle in his life and leave it in the past. How many times did these thoughts come into his head when he had nothing. Good on him

But Bobby otherwise known as logic is my top artist off pure relatability. It brings a tear to my eye since from the beginning to now, he fought against his fated narrative to be someone destined to fail.
