1: first poem You pointlessly made me travel the longer routes yet you were only a few steps away, I forgave/gave up on the countless grudges against you, Among your speeches one stood out the most. Change your position but never back down on your words, Wether it leads you to the throne or the execution rope Politics is the trade of heads(killings of men) Yet with some men’s blood (sacrifice/jihad) The ground grows into lush fields of flowers, When the wind removes your scarf and reveals your face It is identical to full moon light at night And when a tribe is lead by a uneducated mullah(fake scholar), It’s like selling your jewellery to a blacksmith. 2 poem (sarcastically mocks rich spoilt young people ) When there no rivals, no enmity and no noise in life, then what kind of a life is that where there’s no threats, no power and no accusations, Life is real when your shoulders are strapped heavy from ammunitions And your arms full carrying a black gun with a dagger at the top, When your brothers are working hard and your pockets are full, Your guest house is full of friends enjoying music, When it’s a white night and 3-4 sheeshas are also lit up That must be the dram life. Poem 3 I saw a dream that monster comes and devours all the other monsters, It’s such a monster that it’s got powers of all the monsters together, The helping hand of the world (UN) for our poor people When I look at their hands(sleeves) there’s snakes hiding in them, We accept that there must be many who are killers of our joys, But it’s a fact that one of them must be from Lahore(Pakistani army) Poem 4 Oh fire! lit from purity, Oh the accusations of poverty, Oh to the home in centre of my village, I am hardened and have toughened by these accusations, I will walk hungry and naked until my end (will not change and give in to poverty) Poem 5 May your torn shirts be sown, May all refugees return to the country And may this country be a blessing for them, May your scarf(hijab) be my shroud when I die, If I have been killed with a bullet in the back (means afghans never run from war and die with bullets in their chest not back) I will turn myself to dust for you oh my pure land, I will turn you into gardens, I will shout out to my enemies and I will destroy those into thausands of pieces who dare to challenge and disrespect me. You’re my honour, you’re my land(country/people) May you always live/exist and always prosper May you be free until the end of times No matter if I am destroyed but may you always live And may they be destroyed who never stop planning your destruction I am Pashtun due to you, I am prosperous because of you I am your emirate, I am your foundation (the taliban gov) Oh my sweet land I am farhad( ancient afghan hero) My prosperity and destruction is all for you So as long as I am strong, I will never let you fall My innocent head has been smashed hard But I didn’t let it bow down to my enemies More and many more come to me(Afghanistan being invaded) And they extend their hand of iron to me, Then they start hammering my head with nails, This madness continues as my forehead turns dark and wrinkly out of anger, They then sink their yellow dirty teeth into my head Then They’re so hungry that they lose many teeth in this process Then those come to me who are waiting for my inheritance/meeras They take what they want and leave me Then I sit hand to chin wondering about my dreams and hopes, Then I look at my broken legs and my broken body A wave of pain hits me The poison of death keep regurgitating in my throat And I am near the situation of a coma Then the pure Lands dust hits the air and touches me It drops down slowly and falls on my wounds The dust wraps around my wound and sleeps on them Then my wounds tickle and I wake up when I look behind me, A shepherd is singing a sweet song of freedom With his flute hangs a white flag of peace and security And this flag shines and flows with such Beauty Like my lovers silky hair flowing in the wind But when I woke up, it was midnight and all the people were asleep, My pillow was wet with a river of tears My shirt was wet and in my mouth was such a bitter taste that I had never tasted anything of it’s kind.
