Trade that hat and that amp for a Fender Acoustic 100. There will be a very noticeable improvement in your performance.

Would love to see some vids of you playing at the gigs! Great vid as always
I will get a video together of that this year. Gotta add in filming and recording to the task list of doing gigs. Will get to work on it and share that soon 👍
You have a gift. Thanks for sharing it.
Hello! I appreciate you saying that and for watching the video. Have a wonderful day!
what a beautiful guitar
@@kevinfromspace thank you! Appreciate you watching 🙏🏽
What is with these hats 👎
Goofy hats seem to be a common costume element for solo guitar players, especially blues players, I have no idea why. But my band all wears rodeo shirts, so who am I to comment?

Is the mic stand cup holder/ book table commercially available?
@@RalphSteeves-p7s the cup holder stand attachment yes. The book holder made myself by cutting up a corrugated yard sign then gaff taped the whole thing together. Then I use little clamps to clamp it to the cup holder stand 🤓
Love this- great voice and harmonica
@@marymcsherry-nu2gq thanks you!
I was wondering if you have to set up a light on the music stand to see in certain venues. I have a custom songbook with really big letters and chords in bold print but still, sometimes it's dark.
@@lumberpilot personally I usually do not but I have a little battery power clip light with two “antennas” with lights on the end you can bend that works well. The lights have covers on the back side so they don’t light your face
@@lumberpilot you will see them if you search music stand light on Amazon 👍

killing it dude!
@@bryanberhalter8554 thanks for watching!
I saw a couple comments from dudes getting picky over a F# vs D/F# bass. It's all good my brother your cover of this song rules. I had a concert version of this song on my DVR for years and probably watched it a hundred times. One thing makes you stand out from the dozens of acoustic cover videos I've watched on this platform in that you make it look and sound effortless. To me that is an absolute necessity for me to enjoy someone as an entertainer. You've inspired me step away from the computer, go downstairs, and practice. I'm not a good guitarist or singer by any means, but I'm on a mission to take the songs I can do well and take them to the next level to make it look and sound effortless.
@@KeepItRealRN really appreciate your thoughtful comment! Thank you. Glad you were moved to go and play! We each have a unique voice and you do as well! Don’t matter if you play the song exactly anyways. Do it your way! Thanks for your support and for watching 🙏🏽

was a g harp okay I had to look to see what it was I thought he was an a harp on it very cool Awesome cover How old is that Martin you were using that sounds really good is it a newer model!
@@truckerkevthepaidtourist yes a G harp 👍. The Martin is a 2018 model. I played older ones when I was ready to buy one but this one sounded best to me 🤓
@michaelrock2029 very cool Mike Merry Christmas 🤠👍🏻🎄
Great, beautifully played. May I ask what model/make of Hohner harmonica you use? There are so many that Hohner make.
@@Stringbean421 that one was a marine band (wood reed) model I think. I mainly use a brand called east top now which I think sound great and are a bit less pricey
@@michaelrock2029 Thanks. I recently purchased a Suzuki Pro master (non-valved). I'm just getting into the harmonica side of things and it's my first one so can't compare with anything else yet. It's a nice quality construction though and feels good on the lips.
❤
I think the main thing for me would be look and feel of the neck. I`m not sure how much it would effect the sound but I`m sure someone would say how much it really does and point out why? Different fretboards can make them sound bright or more mellow, (maple vs rosewood) so I suppose there is some truth to that. I know a real vintage neck as a replacement can run as much or more than a nice new guitar so that can be a toughie if your pinching your pennies. A neck like that is a good choice as long as you get one that feels right and maybe has a bone nut or a select material for a `best nut`. Also fit. Sometimes your new neck doesnt quite fit the holes on the old body so extra measures need to be worked out to make it whole, so thats another possible issue. I might try your guy for one as I have a guitar that could really benefit from a better neck. I love how it sounds (like a vintage strat) but the neck of visually off-putting.
@@leechild4655 yeah I’ll agree and admit, there is a lot to get hung up on about materials and details when swapping parts. There was just a huge baseball bat neck that was on this guitar before and simply just wasn’t comfortable to play. My 2 goals were playable comfort & relic match to the body. That’s it. You are totally right about vintage or custom shop necks. A fortune! I just went for it and it worked for me. Gave it a set up and now I’m happy with it. Check out Mr.g on eBay and hope you find something that works for you too! Thanks for your comment
