Cobia Cage Dive - Eleuthera, Bahamas - June 2024 . Diving off the AQUACAT liveaboard.
AWESOME scuba dive on the Cobia Cage off of Eleuthera, Bahamas.
We were diving from the Aquacat liveaboard.
Max depth on this dive was about 100 feet on the wall dropoff. Base of the cage was about 80 feet...top of the cage in about 45 feet.
This cage was placed here as an aquaculture experiment to attempt to raise cobias I believe in the 1990`s.

AQUACAT is awesome.
That island and Jeep Reef were my two favorite parts of my AquaCat adventure! I need to get on another charter soon!

Interesting. Looks like the old exoskeletons of the lobster after they molted. You can see the tail still attached to the one on the right.
