You could use a larger weight yarn and hook, such as a chunky and the hook for that weight, it would be the same stitches but come out larger ❤️

I'm so glad you like the crocheted bat, on the screen throughout the video there is written instructions in both UK terms and US terms, as I'm from the UK I do use the UK terms in my videos although I try to say the US terms as well to help.

@@clarasantos6193 it helped me, it can be confusing with all the terms for beginners.

You should start with 15 chain and you work your first stitch into the 4th chain from the hook, the rest just follows from there with each chain stitch being used, if you try it again and still have problems let me know. Let me know if your successful as well, I'd love to know that you were able to do it as I love these little bats and they come out looking so good ❤️

Hi, thank you so much for your comment, I love the small projects as well, so good for gifts and your definitely right looking for some small unique quick makes is a good idea, I’m writing some of my own patterns which will be unique, and some will be quick projects, I’ll have tutorials of these coming out when they’ve been tested, I hope you’ll try them, please let me know what you think when they come out

Love the idea of a garland, these little stars and the hearts are some of my favourites they can be used in so many different ways

It’s such a fun item for this time of year, both my daughters have already asked me to make them a set each as well as ghosts and spiders web, It will keep me busy ☺️

Thank you for your comment, I do speed up some parts as it is a repetition of the same stitch, I will review it to make sure I'm not leaving people behind while making sure that it doesn't make the video repetitive and too long. 🙂

You explained it just fine, and It is yes, which is why you can pull it tighter, there is a number of ways of doing them, it’s whatever you find easiest when starting your project

Crochet makes up quite quickly and there is so many great patterns out there to try, I have a number of beginner tutorials that you can try and you should check out my video 'essential crochet tools for Newbies', to see what you need as you only want to buy what you need until you see how you like it.
