Today we spent the day in Sundragon Pottery with ceramic artist Will Kew. As part of the artist studio bring you The Woodland Games, Will’s job is to make all the medals the contestants can win. So far Will had handcrafted 50 unique clay medals, but the process is still far from over. They still need to be glazed and fired before they will be anywhere near ready for the Woodland Games!

Woodland Tales is a community art project created by Hipkiss & Graney and commissioned by Warley Woods Community Trust. Hipkiss & Graney created a new folktale inspired by the ecology and landscapes of Warley Woods. With local primary schools, families and businesses we brought the folk tale to life through music, sculpture, costume and performance.
