random youtuber: i don't like DS2 that one youtuber who criticizes everyone who doesn't like DS2: i'm about to end this man's whole career i forgot his name, but there is this one youtuber who has more videos criticizing DS2 haters than he has videos actually praising DS2..

I 100% agree that articles by IGN and the likes have ruined AAA gaming. Like you said, if they say something, odds are it's the opposite. The issue is this is obviously not always gonna be true and can harm AAA games that genuinely are good games like Astro Bot. I also think that people just have a bad taste in there mouth after companies like Ubisoft and EA just release garbage after garbage and sell it for the highest price they can get away with.

I always found “get good” to be encouraging whenever I felt about complaining about these games. I just thought “yeah, actually, I should try harder if I want the game to be rewarding”

These people are trying to objectively rate these bosses, no one really cares about personal opinions at all

Well that sucks, works great on my system though. Mouse and keyboard work fine, actually looking around is better with the mouse, but I use a controller. Works just like the PS2. Why don't you use a gamepad?

1:35 Ok souls fans are toxic because a person said very calmly that the inteded way to fight Rykard is with Serpent Hunter. Serpent Hunter requires literally 0 investment in any stat to use it and before you fight Rykard, you can easily upgrade Serpent Hunter in +4(is more than enough against Rykard). If being right about something and offering advice against any boss is toxic, i proudly claim that i'am indeed toxic player. Generally don't have fragile ego.

The souls community is filled with whining incels lol all the good fans don't engage on the internet much cause they got lives, so you'll only really find the bad ones online

people who calls other people casual is like the biggest casual themselves, good players don't go around telling people they're casual lmfao even myself i just stomped a noob in pvp and moved on because i don't have time to go around telling people they're casual and need to git gud like i don't care just play have fun! play however you like, it's okay to dislike DS2 that game do have some issues. but i myself already accept the flaws ds2 has and just play it and finished it and learned to love it even tho it was not well loved by the community. i myself hated Souls-Community as well is full of unpleasant people now. i mean back when i started in 2018 it was still niche. so the people were actually more friendly. but elden ring def has attracted the most weird of people into the community. i am talking about ofc people who actually don't know what an opinion is. or the one that simply can't take someone's criticism of their favorite game. i say don't interact with the steam community of elden ring justdon't ever go there. and go for ds3 ds2 ds1 steam forum because those forum are more tame. and i think this is just me, okay as a long time player since 2018. i think elden ringers are the issue and not the old-ancient souls-community. because the old ancient souls - community help you if you ask them question about the games. they will not care what you do on your playthrough and they certainly aren't going around calling people casuals.

I couldn't imagine playing Okami with a mouse and keyboard The port is pretty bad. No touch/mouse controls for the Deck, either. Still best on the NS/OLED Okami also over utilizes my Deck's hardware, pulling the full 3500 mhz on my CPU. Playing a 30fps capped PS2 game at 15W+ smh. I managed to drop it down to 5.5W average by underclocking my CPU, GPU, and RAM to the minimum. It didn't effect the performance at all! I can get 9h-10h out of that game on my SD OLED It could definitely use an optimization patch, but it's pretty much flawless on Deck with underclocks. There's no better way to experience the game than on a handheld anyways

I actually really like The Eye of Cthulhu. But maybe its just nostalgia, because as a kid, id over prepare for it with all the arena stuff and id still die. Still build arenas for the eye to this day even when i can just ease it lmao.

S tier: DS3, Lies of P, Sekiro A tier: DS2. I love the game personally, I think I have a level 600-ish character on there B tier: Elden ring. Not a fan of the bosses personally C tier or less: Dark souls 1. Pretty sure miyazaki himself admit the game was rushed, and it’s personally really hard for me to enjoy due to the second half of the game, NG+ being forced as soon as you beat gwyn, slow and clunky controls, Lack of fast travel, etc The rest I haven’t played. I cannot rank those yet sadly 😢
