Skateboarding escapades of Aleister James Campbell, musician from Aotearoa (NZ).
Hey, I’m Al. I started skateboarding when I was 9, way back in the summer of ‘88.
I got into skateboarding seriously again during the lockdowns after 20 years of just riding for transport.
I decided to document my mission, hopefully towards being a better skater than I've ever been.
All music on this channel was composed, recorded, and produced by me, with the occasional collaboration in the mix.

The design of skateboards have changed SO much since I started in 1988. And definitely for the better... It's no wonder I could never land a kick kickflip on one of these decks when I was only 9 years old! Blessed be, AjC

Coming back after a recurring ankle injury, but with a new perspective. Maybe it’s an opportunity to relearn to skateboard the way I would if I had a time machine and I could teach myself as a 10 year old who was just starting way back in ‘89. Skateboarding is the best form of transportation in my opinion, it’s good for your health, and not too hard on the environment. Soundtrack is me playing ...

🛹 First ever pole jam, and a few other tricks at the local skateboard park. I’ve been eying up that pole jam since I started skating at this park a couple of months ago, and finally summoned the cajones to give it a hoon… Was quite a rush. ♾ 🔊 Tunes are an unreleased track called ‘Before the First Tower Fell’.
