Thank you for your comment! The magnet inside this torque limiter is the source of torque. The torque limit is set by the magnetizing process in our factory since the torque is decided by magnetic field intensity.

The problem is this does not backstop in both directions.
Thank you for watching! You can't use this product if you have to hold in both directions. It is not necessary to use a handle when lifting up some objects. It depends upon how you use it.
