United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 15 ก.ค. 2017
We are a small excavator in Greater Grand Rapids Mi. We focus on all types of septic system replacements and installs. We also do all types of excavation. We try to be the one source for all of your needs.
A tight lake lot septic system run through after the job.
We had to crush and haul out this customers septic tank along with two dry wells. They had to move their well from the front yard to the backyard. We then had to install two new tanks and drainfield in the front yard. We used an Infiltrator 1530 2 compartment tank and an Infiltrator 540 gallon tank. We had the well company directional bore our pump line under the driveway to the drainfield area where we connected into the drainfield. We used EZflow system for our drainfield.

This is what we would call an old school baffle. It does not have allow a lot of access to troubleshoot but it does allow you probe and clean possible plugs.

Added two new tanks Had some challenges with tight entrance and low wires. It took an additional 30 minutes to get to the site because of road conditions. Used the excavator to backfill and grade yard. Moved equipment to the next job and dropped it.
Installed 3 new tanks with pump system. We replaced the pump and blew out the drainfield lines.

Put together a quick video to try to explain how Dewatering works. What the benefits are and how we used it on this job. Have you used it? As long as it is not clay soils it has worked great for us. Dewatering Septic Concrete tanks Volvo 145 High water table Water table Setting concrete tanks

Prepping for a pool. We cut into the hillside, flattened out the pool area. Installed a rock wall. We also installed 40’ culvert pipe and hauled spoils to cover the culvert pipe. We also had a track pop off of the excavator.
Collapsing a tank under a deck. Installing two new tanks.
มุมมอง 1222 ปีที่แล้ว
This was a tough tank replacement. Tank was under the deck and the sewer line came in from a different direction than what the homeowner thought. We were able to install a 1530 gallon tank and 1060 gallon tank. No topsoil or hydroseed added on this job.
Installing 2 1530 gallon septic tanks near gas line.
มุมมอง 972 ปีที่แล้ว
We collapsed 2 800 gallon tanks. Installed two 1530 gallon tanks. Heavy clay soils so we brought in two truck loads of sand. We broke a large 2” sprinkler line where we made the repair and came close to hitting a gas line that was not marked. Finished the yard with topsoil and harley raking.
Tight backyard septic tank replacement.
มุมมอง 752 ปีที่แล้ว
This was a tight backyard two Tank Replacement. We were able to get both tanks installed and connected to the drainfield.
3 new tanks getting installed with many challenges.
มุมมอง 552 ปีที่แล้ว
This home has two separate septic systems. The county did not have a good records of where everything was located and what was existing. So the only thing we can do is get in there and figure it out. Quite a few different challenges we faced with us but overall turned out well.

So you need a basement first?
currently driving behind you
What's the advantages and disadvantages with ez flow system?
You should have put the barrier material over the socks so keep the sand out!!
Please repent and believe the Gospel. The time very short. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; John 3:16-21 (16)For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17)For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (18)He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (19)And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (20)For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (21)But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
What out from your basement? Please explain why this means and does anything😂😂😂
Been pondering a grader box. You just sealed the deal for me!
What is the pole on the box for ?
Great job 👏
“Hold back” on that music😂
Looks like a perfectly good driveway
How many inches of items 4 you put?
Driving over the new field with heavy equipment.....dont know where those PVC pipes are anymore, lets just level it out.... wow.
Those flexible black pipes are awful at holding any weight. I'd imagine some of them are damaged by driving over them. A very easy way to make a lot of money doing jobs like this.
Limestone is naturally corrosive so crushed asphalt would be my preference
The roads must have a low weight limit ,those trucks were only halfway full.
Is there a pipe sending water to the drain field? Do the pipes need to be connected to each other? Need more info!
There is a pipe from the tank that brings it to the drainfield. It will bring it to a header pipe which distributes it to the EZFlow pipes.
Baffled on why you woud go from pavement to gravel.
Questionable music choice for a heavy machinery video. Do not enjoy, will not return.
Are you going to put stone over it, like blue chip?
Replacing a asphalt driveway for gravel seems like a downgrade if you ask me.
Totally agree, that driveway looked better than some roads in thd UK 🤣
Limestone less sharp edges and points !
That music was horrible i had to stop watching so i didn't hear it anymore
$80 x 108 + tax = what?... Over ten grand before labor?
You have the numbers wrong. The most expensive system we have done I. Our area is $4000 in material. You have to keep in mind some of the collateral damage you don’t have by dumping and transporting stone in front yard and bringing to backyard. You can sometimes get the job done in a day compared to two days so it ends up belong close to a wash on cost, on many. Or it I may be a 20-25% higher cost than stone but it always works out better.
@@walnutgroveexcavating3686 is this a normal size for a septic tank drain field? It seems very large. Im doing recon on running a mew leach line/septic yard system . The current one is back up "due to the leach line/downstream water drainage not draining. Had the septic pumped 3 wks ago. 1kGal. It rained 3 of those days. Its full again... any advice? Im not paying 10k to anyone to dig a hole and lay pipes. Cheers!
Why not just spray the asphalt with tar and then small gravel? Lots of back roads are kept up this way.
Just learned all about "tar & chip" and planning to use it moving forward. Seems like a great, cost-effective solution!
You should take time to let us hear the machines especially the skid steer fore
Yeah that music was horrible
And dusty when dry
Crush asphalt for the trails and limestone for the driveway,
organized operation!
Thanks!
The white limestone is pretty; however I don't like it when it rains, your tires look horrible. But nice job...
Normally on a driveway not as bad. I agree when they install it on counties roads. Everything turns white. It is hard to pick the right material, asphalt millings pack well but make any concrete black. Road gravel gets really muddy in the rain. Crushed concrete packs nice, but if they do not mix it well you end up with the same issue as road gravel. You may also get some random debris in crushed concrete. It coms down to what you want to deal with :)
Crushed limestone for sure
Good work fellas, clean work, man that's some nice material yous were working with. Sandy kabibbles, thanks for sharing
Thanks 👍
Good explanation nice work
Thanks!
I bet you guys will love that big cleanup bucket you just got for it for tasks like this, just bailing and moving mass amounts of dirt!
I am really excited for the bucket. I feel like that will be almost as big of a game changer as the Engcon.
@@walnutgroveexcavating3686 id say so! The day I bought just my tilting cleanup bucket for my mini it changed the way I finish jobs. So much faster and better finished product. It felt big and fancy at the time but now I want a bigger better one! Haha Although seeing you and the other guys like dirt ninja with the engcons really gets me interested in investing in one of those. Seem like a no brainer once your used to it!
@@cpexcavatingllc3484 The Engcon really is a game changer. It is amazing how fast you can get jobs done, while be safer and produce the same if not better results. It paid for itself within the first year.
@@walnutgroveexcavating3686 I can imagine! I’m debating whether or not to invest in it on my next mini or do it when I buy my bigger machine. I’m in the market for a 35k lbs machine this season or next season with the larger workload I have, renting big rigs suck! I think an engcon on a larger machine like yours would be much more productive then on a 10k lb mini. Although I would still have my mini for small jobs the big machine with the engcon I think would be the wisest investment!
@@cpexcavatingllc3484 my first larger machine was an old Hitachi. Loved it, started everyday, ran great and it had nothing fancy. It was great digging machine. I realized with the work I do and tight spaces I am in, I needed a close to zero tail swing and rubber tracks. Those two changes for me were huge. Being able to drive in off the road and not mess with mats and/or plywood. I have a 9,500# mini I am amazed on how many large jobs I used it on (before the large machines). At that time did`not really care how long it took. Renting for me was bitter sweet. You could rent a large machine have it dropped off, which is nice. I rented different machines for a year and when I added up the total on rentals I was disappointed that I had nothing to show for that money. Once you go to the bigger machine and you can do the larger jobs in a day instead of 2 it is mind blowing how much more work you can take on. Sounds stupid but it close to doubling business, with the right setup. Always took us 2 days to do a septic, now 1 day almost no matter what unless it is mound or t trench.
Like your Kenworth trucks and Volvo excavator
Thanks!
Looking Good!
Thanks!
Thanks for the video man! I Do this stuff everyday but enjoy seeing what other contractors are up to! Tempted to start my own channel aswell to get the online exposure!
Thanks for the comment. It sounds crazy but I watch the other excavators videos all the time. I learn something new, of course some things not to do. Overall I love seeing guys conquer some hard jobs and challenges. I hope to bring more how to videos and tips. I have learned a lot from others sharing their knowledge.
I subscribed to so once you make one I will see it 👍
