    I have a solaredge 3000 that I bought used on e-bay. Hooked it up and it worked fine. I shut it down every night and after about 2 weeks it stopped producing power. It reads 240 grid voltage, incoming voltage is actually higher than the panel should read(10 panels at 31 volts and it reads around 420 volts incoming and producing reads 0. It shows a 18xBC code. I have tried everything I can think of. Solaredge seems to only want to deal with installers. Before I scrap this one could you tell me what settings I might have hit that would cause this or is it shot. Thanks George

    My snaps were 1st replaced (with 802's and the old one's were not ID'd on the plans by bk'd Zenernet so I don't know whether the original from a mid 2021 installation were 801's or 802's - perhaps the sneaky Zenernet guys trying to use up there stock of 801's w/o letting the home owner knowing which they used...? And this in any case did not fix the lockout error, so another company did the successful reset of this error using your process, but the lockout error has returned 6 weeks later in the same string that the snaprs were replaced 100% with 802's. So now that the reset needs to be done again, do i need to spend $300 again and replace the 802 snaps? Or do the wise thing and just go up there and remove these snaps and toss them (and the Generac folks who designed this faulty system) into the trash bin and be done with these stupid things that turn your panels into boat anchors? And prevent a one in a billion chance that you have an attic fire, that the FD needs to chop through where your solar wires are, and that they are not using wooden handled axes to do said chopping. With none of these potentially overheating fire starting snaps to begin with, problem solved!

    • @greendaypower40
      @greendaypower40 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know why it was $300 to replace them the committed installed the system should have gave you a warranty that's when I was in this time limit and the company should come out and replace them for free if there's a problem with them again we have a very good luck with the second-generation versions but I would call generac directly and have them deal with the problem and they should be able to cover the issue

We just had a horrible ice storm that took out all power sources, and I only have solar, which shut down @ 3am after the backup battery drained. So of course the new guys will take the money. It's always once every few months something goes wrong. Idk if I'm saving money after paying over $50k for my 36kwh system. 😮
