I went snowboarding for the first time this year and decided to document the experience with my new GoPro. I wipe out a total of 16 times. Pretty funny stuff!
I get shocked using mine all the time… It’s a good product if you’d like electrical shocks
Caption is just an attention getter, no stars
Why do you say you got a shock in the title? I am getting shocks and it is causing me to drop it as they have increased in intensity. They say they have static guards that ground on the larger lawnmowers etc but only have the one in the handle on the leaf blower. This needs to be addressed. For the price? It is unacceptable to me.
I got the 650 with a 5 amp hour battery a year and a half ago and it's awesome. Just bought my dad the 765 with 5ah for $269 with Tech Made Easy affiliate link discount. They move quite a bit more than what yours is moving!
EGO!!!!!! Pay attention to this. I have the same blower and love it for light powdery snow. especially cleaning off the car. It does a amazing job of getting the snow out of the vent area around the windshield wipers. But I have been shocked many times and It still blows my mind that that is a “ok” thing to happen. I get that it is a leaf blower and not a snow blower but everyone on the planet that has a ego blower and snow is going to use it for that. I recently went down to my ego dealer and asked them how the 2 newer models are that have came out since mine. He said they also give a “Static Shock” like that was supposed to make it ok because it is a “static “ shock.🤦♂️ I don’t care if it’s a cloud shock or a ice cream shock. a shock is a shock and it’s not pleasant. Please Ego can you fix this issue! ps. the blower also works good for blowing up a air mattress at the lake or a large island floaty that several ppl can lay on. Our family bought us a huge floaty that 6 adults can lay on easily and my small 12 volt tire pump took an hour to inflate and the ego 580 leaf blower does it in 10 mins. pss. I just purchase something I thought I would never get. A certified 13 amp 18 inch electric corded snow blower. AMAZING!!! For the $200 at canadian tire i paid for it i am blown away(pun intended) Way way lighter than the ego 12 inch sweeper and doesn’t throw the snow as far but really decent blower for the money.
You are asking them to fix physics... Hold a metal chain in your other hand dragging on the ground, and you'll never be shocked again.
That’s wild!
Those lithium batteries can be damaged when charging below 50°F.
They definitely recommend keeping them in a climate-controlled building.

@dotconnector76 as long as you're above freezing it's safe to charge them. 50 degrees is no biggie at all and it just means they'll charge at a cooler rate instead of getting hot. These are also still lithium ion, not LiFePo battery chemistry so a bit less sensitive to the cold I understand.
Works great! To bad about the footprints. LoL
Been doing this for years in Maryland. Works great as long as it’s dry snow
Don't need it for leaves that much more for the snow. But with such a small driveway id do a quick shovel and finish it off with the blower for that clean look.
My Milwaukee shocked me once and somehow the battery got damaged
Yeah that happens a lot to me . I've learned to turn it off if a snow cloud surrounds me.
What size batteries are you using
I just have the 2.5 A/H battery that came with it. I bought an extra, same size, to switch out.
You need the 5.0 battery, at least...nice vid!! God bless...
hahah Cathy....
Not the Eagles T!
