I purchased a 9’6” TFO steelhead rod. It’s a light action and pretty noodley. Will it be ok to cast it with a 2oz pyramid sinker?

Question, what stops the bobber from floating downstream if the weight isn’t able to be fixed on the bottom? I’d think the current would take it down or that the current would take your leader down until it would swing back up to the surface. Thank you

Nice work! Just something I noticed during the video. Your boards are really close to your spread. I would get them out further. It's just a matter of time before one takes some tackle from ya. I like the off shore sst boards. They pull 300 coppers beautifully out away from your spread. Nice fish!

You're missing a step with the bobber

Your bobbers loose on that swivel so what stops it from going up the line

I don't understand how you fix your bobber if it's loose it won't go under is it like a slip bobber rig

Why is it you never tell the pure that you're fishing at that's not fair to people myself I can figure it out but the beginner would have a hard time finding out where you're fishing if you don't want to disclose where you're fishing then you shouldn't be making a video

Dang, That was a nice one... I'm just starting out fishing with my brother as we go into retirement... What pier was that? I'm not familiar with very many yet. It looks like you posted this recently. I'm wondering when you fished... unless you prefer keeping a secret, which some like to keep. This late Winter (2/23/24) is so warm, there's no ice fishing in the southern parts. I figured I'd look to see if anyone is fishing a bit on the early side. Let me know if you are testing waters.

Thanks for the awesome video! I liked the content, so of course I just subbed! I'm going steelhead fishing on Friday! So far I have been out 6 times this year so far and it's been very successful. This Friday will be my first time this year targeting steel head, so I hope I'm on at least one!!! I just post my last outing yesterday and was able to bring in 3 jumbo trout which was fun as always! I look forward to your next adventure! tight Lines!
