My standard question to medieval musicians - where can I access sheet music for Dufay, de Machaut and others? The absence of ‘the big book of…’ leaves me with only the Cantigas de Santa Maria and a handful of other works as complete; the rest is so scattered amongst numerous anthologies. Marvelous music. The video is over-produced, too fancy, and designed to seduce the listener in a way that is "out of tune" with the music and its era. I found myself looking away, as if in embarrassment.

The, dare I say, definitive version of this is by David Munrow and the Early Music Consort of London. Ten times more energy than this, which I do like!
