True 100% say 100% on the bottle. I've always believed it to be group 4 oil, but the SDS is mostly blank. Which bottle says 100%? The NAD decided if its not 100%, it can't be advertised as 100% synthetic. I've found 3 that say 100%. But the additive package isn't very impressive.

I rebuilt an engine that had just inder 100k miles on it. I took it apart then had the machine shop do work and i assembled it and reinstalled it. So thats what i mean by rebuilt but the important thing is i cleaned this engine a bit before bringing the parts in and i had to clean all the parts not done by the machine shop. This car was owned by an amsoil rep dealer person who followed those wacky long drain intervals and had been running amsoil in this vehicle most of the vehicles life. That engine had so much crud i couldn't believe how much sludge and crap was inside that engine it was so damn thick certain parts were cutting through sludge. That wasnt the only engine ive done that had extended drain intervals. Amsoil is good stuff i use it in some of my things i also use royal purple HPS in my engines that's one of my favorite oils but you have to change your oil. Manufacturers with these extended drain intervals are trying to reduce the cost of ownership and are only concerned with the car sticking together in the warranty period. Then these high end oils that have these extra long drain intervals might still be good but its about the trash that collects in the oil that gets flushed out with a change. I actually dont go over 3000 miles usually even with the high end oils and i tell people no matter what your using change it at 5000 max please don't run to 10 and 15k miles. I dont care if your doing oil analysis to see if the oil is still good you need to change the oil give the engine clean oil. Oil analysis is great but in my opinion its not for cheaping out on oil changes. Every engine ive taken apart that has been on amsoil and ran to these crazy 15 and 25k miles has been very nasty inside then the engines ive taken apart with reasonable change intervals have been quite healthy and clean. No oil no matter how good can handle these long change intervals specifically because the byproducts of running the engine and how the oil gets dirty the filter only does so much. Then another thing people are surprised about is if you hardly drive the car and do short little trips you need to change your oil sooner. It's so important to do proper maintenance that suits your vehicle and habits.

Yeah run amsoil for 25k miles and see how long your engine lasts.

I'd like to see an oil analysis with 0W-8 new oil, and then another analysis after 5000 miles.

Valvoline is great oil, it's 100% synthetic. Amsoi isn't worry paying for the multi level fees, it's ridiculously overpriced

So do you just dump the whole thing in a 6gal can for boat. Also what if there is already mixed fuel in it because its not completely gone? It says 100/💧1 on the boat engine

Any G6 oil does same, buy full synthetic and change your oil every 6000 miles.
