​@@dazztrazak And yeah really weird release by ATK , i think they are going to dominate the market in 2025 (ATK/VXE/MadLions, all the same subbrands) I currently have 28 mice including the ATK F1/X1 VXE Mad R / R1, MadLions MAD G. Don't see where this one fits in tho. It's an EC2 but then wider? but no length adjustments? And it's hard to get a "locked in" feeling when an ergo is slippery. weird since ATK has some great coatings usually, did they just forget to put it on here or something ? Lol. I do remember from watching Aimadapt video on the ATK F1 that it felt like they didn't put enough coating on it compared to his other ATK , they did appear to fix it in later batches Definetly excited for what china has to offer next year. I really can't stop myself from buying mice around the 50-60 bucks.

@ Haha I find myself in the same boat where it doesn’t feel as bad to buy the cheaper mouse like that, especially when it’s good which it seems to be more often than not these days. And yea the shape here is an odd one and departure from their usual clone.

@@entername6874 I’ve had generally good experiences with ATK, however the F1 side flex was definitely an issue. This mouse just seems mid.

@@Jeggettmega I didn’t personally love the Sora clicks felt cheap to me. Scyrox clicks feel better, but some units have the side to side play I showed. I prefer the Scyrox wheel as well, similar texture to a Lamzu wheel. Sora one felt cheaper. I don’t have the Sora anymore so I don’t recall the tactility of the middle click/scroll.

@@Raynoxfps Right though, I didn’t even grasp the size until I sat those mice next to each other. It’s technically shorter but it’s chonky and fills out the hand.

@ im considering canceling my order , because i like the g403/ g703 a lot but its a long time ago since this shape was my main and i didnt stick long to the dav3 sizewise, otherwise great review good job

@ Really appreciate that! I’ve heard the smaller size is very similar to the sprime pm1. I do think the shape doesn’t lend itself to micro adjusting very well but may just be for my grip.

@@banaanhaan If you really like the XM1r shape the new XM2W or XM2 8k are great options, only $85 for the 8k on Amazon. For my grip the Scyrox V8 works with almost the same hand size as yours (19x10) as the back hump sort of acts to lengthen the mouse some. Otherwise you really can’t go wrong with an ATK X1/VV3 Pro as a jack of all trades. Budget wise Mad R is X2 esque and also great for any type of claw including pincer IMO. Cheap on Alixexpress.

@dazztrazak yeah I like the XM2 shape but want to try something in between that and the OP1. That's how I ended up with the Scyrox V8. Thanks for the feedback, will look further into it. What's your current favorite mouse with which grip?

@ Sooo the mouse contacts both sides of my palm, fingers angle to the front left of the mouse, thumb far back, ring finger up on front right side. Sort of tilted palm/relaxed claw hybrid. I’ve not found a good way to describe it but should probably mention that and hand size in videos. Favorite small is OP1 8k, medium large it’s Maya X. You could also try the Mad G if you want more of a mid hump mouse, GPX adjacent.

Good to know, will update if I encounter that over time with use.

@@dazztrazak MCHOSE L7 have insane low latency from what I saw. I bought 2 f1 extreme and it ended up being the same price of 1 flagship mouse from big companies. Nowadays if someone is in a budget and want really good mouse buying from chinese brand is the way to go.

@@cringekid69 Yea I 100% agree there, the quality of those mice has shot way up recently and no reason to break the bank on flagship if you can't afford it.

My hands are 19x10 and the size 2 fills my hand pretty well and I end up in what’s close to a palm grip, very relaxed claw. Micro adjustments suffered so I think you’ll be fine on the size 1 unless you typically prefer larger mice.

@@isaia4h I’ll be reviewing the MCHOSE A7 when it comes in here soon. I’ve heard good things but haven’t used it yet myself. Incott G23 is the other top option. Both very affordable on Aliexpress.

@@ronald0122 Now that I’m posting reviews it’s whatever I’m reviewing next. If I had to go to a tournament tomorrow it would be ATK X1 Ultimate or OP18k Purple Frost. Scyrox V8 is close behind. What about you?

​Based atk user. Have all the mice you mentioned and then some (28 and counting) i picked up a carry pouch for the viper v2 on aliexpress and fits the atk x1 like a dream, in case you travel with it.😅​@@dazztrazak

@@kawaneki6274 It is not quite the same but very very similar and captures the essence of the Maya. I’ve had no issues with quality thus far.

@@kawaneki6274 this is all I’ve got for recommendations right now. I use it over my Maya x now due to coating and the slight back hump change. Otherwise check out r/MouseMarket or eBay for a used Maya X.

@@kawaneki6274 you could also go for a used gpx ir vv3 pro or equivalent clone for a similar size range mouse.

@@darioblanco8577 Honestly with your hand size you might love the x2h mini as it wasn’t uncomfortable for me at 19x10. The back hump really makes it feel a little longer. The red one I had was top notch on QC as well. Let me know how it goes!

Yup! X1 Ultimate with stock skates is 55.2 grams and Mad G with 5 dot skates is 48.2 grams. And I for sure agree, was trying to figure out what camera to use for that give the needed top down angle. May resort to tripod/phone cam :)

@@dazztrazak Awesome! Thanks a lot for the quick reply again. This is exactly what I was curious to know. I was wondering how close ATK came to hitting their +/- mark with the Ultimate release. I know there is definitely copy to copy variance and even the color can affect it but I did want the white Ultimate and red Mad G.

@@JulianRasch-g6v So click wise the difference is mainly between the OP1 being mechanical and optical on the scyrox. Force to actuate is roughly the same anecdotally with the purple frost op18k. The switches are slight heavier on the standard op18k than the purple frost. Both are very spammable. Shape wise, you’ll feel slightly more at home on the scyrox since the back hump is closer to that of the g305, although its egg shape is pretty unique. Your hand size might be perfect for the op1 though with the op1w 4k also being a great option. You’ll have slight more freedom for micro adjustments on it, so if you want to try a shape that’s a little different, go OP1. Scyrox will give you great stability with the back hump.

That's what makes it perfect for my preferences as well, the X2H 1.5 size. Between that, the lowered weight (I should have spoken more on) and the omrons, feels like a no brainer for me.

@@ManPhalanges Thanks! Yea editing on a headset it sounded much louder than it does over speaker. Will have to play with it some more. Yea mouse definitely does fall in the smaller category.

@@Darth_Modred Definitely possible. I’ve found often it’s related to the overall structure inside the mouse, but that’s not to say someone more savvy than me couldn’t do something to reinforce without adding a lot of weight 🙂

@@entername6874 Appreciate the comment! I actually had multiple Incott mice on order and Ali and they never shipped sadly so I may try again here during the next sale. Z2 intrigues me and would be a great budget showdown with the ATK Z1. Absolutely stellar naming conventions 😎

@@dazztrazak no one gonna buy 2nd mouse even from big brands, why think of resale? i give away all my old razer logi mouse, all outdated. 3950 is the way to go and you can find chinese mouse with flawless sensor implementation but cheaper

@@clairvoyance7424 Mice usually sell pretty well on r/MouseMarket or eBay at close to retail if new, and still some value later. Some people just want to try them all haha

@@entername6874 interesting, my side buttons are not that bad but I have noticed them getting a little worse with use. I was debating doing a follow up on these mice as I use them more. I’ve not experienced the polling rate or dpi issues, but I did have a similar experience with an m3 previously as far as the mouse feeling cheap.

So there are similarities to the S2, hump placement is close, but the slope on this mouse down to the clicks is greater, very different feel. Depending on your grip, if you like a bigger back hump to fill out your palm on a claw grip, I would recommend this. Otherwise you may want to look elsewhere. Something mid hump and safe like a Maya x or mad g if you’re ok with a little wider overall mouse, gpx/vv3 for larger but comfortable and safe shape.

Going to check into a tool for that now :)

@@hgantic13 neither of them are my absolute favorite but both are good. I prefer the location and size of the Mad G side buttons though. They remind me of well Lamzu side buttons which makes sense, a little on the larger side.

@@hgantic13 What I’ll say is that both this and the X1 Ultimate for example is that they perform fine in Kovaak’s with 8k for example. In Fortnite the Mad G absolutely wrecked my performance on 8k with frequent dips below 60fps from over 300 fps. The 3950 does seem to cause a few less issues on 8k but still affects fps for me. I usually play on 2k or 4k depending on mouse.

I do actually! The GPX is overall just a narrower mouse, no real flare in the front or back, flatter sides, indiscernibly heavier. Clicks are very much the Logitech optical experience, heavier on the GPX 2. Mushy side buttons, but great performance. I've not used them, but I've heard that the MChose A7 and Incott G23 are the best GPX clones in a similar price range to the Mad G and might be worth checking out.

@@eilon89 Maya X is a little bit shorter, actually 1mm per listing, but they feel very similar in overall size.
