    This is really good content Narasimha Raja. I love how you give a birds eye view for understanding the physics and the motivation behind the proposed gm/Id design methodology for finFET amplifier design and beyond. I also appreciate not jumping into too much detail and missing the forest for the trees. Please keep them coming :)

    hi sir ur explanation is top notch, please explain how to calculate input impedence for any circuit in the same manner

      It's similar to the output impedance calculation. You have to ensure that there is no independent source other than Vx( Which is applied to the port). Apply Vx across the port and measure Ix that flows across the same port.

      Because Rs provides negative feedback, Gm=gm/(1+gm*Rs).
