That wig though!!! We stan cheap wigs!!!!!
cheap wigs saving the day for real!
this video didnt have enough feet
@@TheSoran 🤦🏻♀️ more feet. Got it 👍
hello absolutely beautiful videos 😊👍the next time you film threading the sewing machine and winding the bobbin please kindly film operating the sewing machine electric foot pedal being used by foot while sewing please ok?thank you very much 😊 ❤
I think I’m a furry now!! Dang Kate Zade! Came for the thirst trap thumbnail, stayed for the amazing journey of your creation!
the thumbnail was just for you! ;)
Fantastic! So cuuuuute! 🎉🎉
thank you so much, Jordi!!!
Omggggg I love this!! I’m planning on doing smth similar!! (One of the cosplays have a BIG tail as well) I have been watching *a lot* of furry tail tutorials but I haven’t found was with a big tail yet🥲 I rly want a super motion tail but idk if it’ll be too heavy TwT I’m so happy I finally found someone doing a similar scale!!! Even if it isn’t super motion!! :DDD
I got this video as an ad, the tail looks very fluffy and very cool 👍
it is so fluffy!!! i just hope i can find a way to attach it to my body!!
It looks so good! Well done!!
thank you so so much!!
where does your hair go behind the wig lol
it is actually all piled on top of my head lololol
Love this kate!
This is honesty adorable!!!
thank you so so much!!
You are incredibly talented! That’s an awesome squirrel tail! I don’t know who squirrel girl is, but I’m obsessed with squirrels, and I keep the ones in my area nice and plump by feeding them all year long lol what I’m trying to say is, I’ve always been a squirrel girl lol
@@oliviathompson9937 you are a true hero to the squirrels! ❤️❤️❤️ thank you so so much🥰
Oh I've been waiting for the Marvel Rivals cosplays to start rolling out! I'm sorry you aren't happy about the colour, Kate, but I think the tail looks great! Now I've only ever dyed cotton fabric, so take my analysis with a heap of salt, but I'm guessing you either needed more dye in your pot or your water wasn't hot enough. I'd put more weight on the former statement; from what I understand about dye in general, it's that if you're dying multiple pieces of fabric you'll need to use more by default! The dark patches can also likely be attributed to the fabric sitting still for too long in the pot, though I understand how hard keeping heavy fabric moving consistently can be. However I do think the colour variation helps the fur look a little more natural, especially after you brushed the tail out!
thank you so so much!!! im thinking of using acrylic paint with a fabric medium in an air brush to make it darker? we will see lolol. good thing i bought A LOT of fur!
As a fursuit maker, one thing I would recommend for the tail is to use a pet brush and when you wash the fur, be sure to brush it before it dries
Oh!!!! Thank you!!! I’ll try this!!! I appreciate you!!
@@katezadeI will also recommend getting one that has bad reviews in terms of "slipping" pet fur. You wanna get one that is garbage at taking shed fur off of animals, so it wont tear any out of faux fur fabrics :D
@ thank you!!!
Thank you so much for this! I’ve never made any cosplay props and I really want to cosplay her but had no idea where to start. It came out so good!
Im planning on making her whole fit! So let me know if you have any questions :)
Wow! So excited to see the progress <3
sizz!!!! thank you so so much <3
I love how thorough you are with the instructions
Im trying to share the limited knowledge that i have!! <3
Thats so pretty!! I love the style of it. And i would say that you don't need to nessecarily fix the buttons. Have you ever seen a perfect gingerbread man?
you are right!!! yes!!! the buttons are added personality!!!
Oh my word!!! I love this! I've been a Squirrel Girl fan since I was a child. I love how you make it lightweight as well. Also, this tutorial also just gives Squirrel Girl lol
awwwww thank youu!!! i hope this cosplay comes together nicely, because she is so so cute!!
I love Squirrel Girl, she Defeated thanos all by herself!! Thinking of rigging, with zero cosplay experience, I guess the issue is the size and thus weight of it going upwards. so could you use a thin twine or something like fishing line to attach it in two places, so you have the attachment at the normal "tail area" but then an "invisible" attachment higher up sort of at shoulder height to take some of the stress of the bottom attachment?
@@iamjfdownes5701 I’m going to try this!! I’m going to use an aluminum flat rod inside the tail, but the rod is also heavy and my tail is so tall! So I’m going to try everything lol
amazing! Idk the character but the tail colors look like a real squirrel hahaha
@@austinattack I thought so too! Lololol I look at it and think “squirrel.” So I’m happy 🤣
kinpatsu on here has an example of using this way with her spirit blossom ahri tail! hope that can help🎉
@@thefoxesden8111 yes!!! I watched this and ordered everything she linked to from Amazon and I’m going to try exactly what she did this weekend! Thank you so much!
THIS IS SO CUTE
thank you so so much! i feel so cute in it! like i just walked out of a little gingerbread village lol
the shoes are ingenious! I'm sure you'd get a lot of compliments if you wore the outfit out :)
thank you so so much!!! i want to wear them every day lol!
nawhhh you did such a good job on this costume!!! especially the shoes, why does it look edible LOL
@@TheSoran yay!!!! Edible is what I was going for!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great video Kate! #teampinksocks
@@natelittle5378 I agree with the pink socks!! It would look SO MUCH BETTER!!
Maybe add a light base coat of white after sanding and priming 😊
@@penelopegrey8358 I thought of that after everything was done 🤦🏻♀️
I think the painting is fine, just sanding it beforehand i think would make the paint smoother, and bedazzling sounds fun!
@@vlwmaxie the bedazzling was so much fun!! They are shiny!!!
it's gotta be mr mime. the people want it. also how long did it take you to bedazzle??????
@@austinattack it actually didn’t take me very long!! Maybe two hours? With breaks in between. And Mr. Mime won the social media polls!!!
You could try stippling the paint on for a more even texture rather than brushing it You can also achieve a more even coat with thinner layers and fully spreading the paint
@@mkc3436 thank you!!! Yes, I kinda just globbed all the paint on 🤦🏻♀️
As someone who paints 3D prints with acrylic, I recommend doing a layer of black paint first, then paint as intended😁👍
@@Is_this_taken_yet black paint?!?!? I would have never thought of this!!! Thank you so much!!
So sanding the print really well before putting on the primer really helps- also lightly sand the primer with a fine sandpaper. Also, try adding cornstarch to your paint to make it have more body. Lastly- if you’re used to spray painting and you’re not confident in your brush skills, try masking off parts that you don’t want that color like you would with spray paint! Nothing is wrong with making things easier for yourself when you’re starting out.
@@selfgaming1456 cornstarch?!?!? Genius!!! I’m going to try this!! Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom with me!!
What's the reason for sanding the thermoplastic before primering? I thought the primer was meant to fill the print lines and then be easier to sand down. I've also heard of putting on alternating color primer coats so you know how far you've sanded in certain spots.
@ in my experience sanding the surface of a print and then putting a primer produces a much smoother surface and hides a lot of print lines. I kind of have a thing about making things look super smooth and sanding is my go to preferred starting method. It makes everything a clean slate and makes the surface the perfect texture for the primer to adhere
@@dapperpea9006 i appreciate youuu!
Cannot wait to see you manage to make the absolute cursed object that is Mr.Mime into something fun and cute.
I want to cosplay Mr. Mime so badly!!!! Lololol!
SO THAT’S HOW YOU DO IT!? Thank you!!!
@@TheSoran I put off getting a projector for the longest time because I thought I was going to need some fancy setup and holes drilled into my wall. Nope :) it’s ez
can't wait to see more on Bellossom!!
@@austinattack I can’t wait to show yall! I’ll be posting more about her on Sunday!!
Id like suggest you trace parallel to the salvage not perpendicular. It gives you long lines on the glove and a better stretch! 😊
thank you so much!!! i also need to use a zigzag stitch because they definitely came apart lol
This is so cool!
Thank you so so much!!
gruly worker so hard for 1like😢❤
I saw a pony at a comic con lol-
i would love to see a pony at a comic con!!!
@ the pony was so cute!! he had a cape on cuz it was cold outside :D
With the way you’re punching holes, are you sure your name isnt kyle and you love monsters ?
Padmé is the Candylorian, is cannon now.
@@iamjfdownes5701 I’m so glad you saw this too!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I love that you just keep committing to making it more ridiculous!
that is what made this cosplay so much fun!!
so cute! loved seeing it all come together at the end!
Thank you so so much!!
Great video. I had not heard of acryllic modeling paste before, will have to give that a try. Also, you amazed me with the spraying spray paint into a little cup to use for touch ups. It seems simple in hindsight, but it never occurred to me. I've been over here trying to match random acryllic paints to the spray paint.
Thank you so much! and i only tried it because i saw a very short clip of someone doing the same in a cosplay WIP tiktok video. i was also amazed at the idea!! and it works!! but don't use your best paint brush, because there is no washing the spray paint off of it lol
those eyes are AMAZING. such a cool idea. this looks great!!!!!!!
@@austinattack thank you!!! I’m so happy the eyes came in a kit from Amazon! They were so easy to install!
how did you glue it together so smoothly? Befroe you sanded the helmet already looked so clean
@@UnchiShitai-gb1wt I printed the helmet in all one piece. I can never glue pieces together straight. The fact that I was able to glue the broken top piece was a miracle!
Oh the glow on the helmet makes it look so real!!
thank youuuu! i wanted to make it as accurate as i could!!!
Although people have made iron man masks atleast a million times I always love seeing people's takes on them whether its 3d printing, laser cutting, molding, wood work or spray painting, hyrdro dipping, freeze painting, painting or water colors its always nice to see how much diversity there is when it comes to creation.
this was my first one and im so excited to keep learning all the different ways to make armor! its so fun!
Love how the costume and make-up came out!! 😁
thank you so so much!!
