Build a 496 for the same money as building a 468. Pump gas 496 with the proper combo of parts make great power. My last 496 made 725 hp with 690 tq. With cheap pro comp heads. And if you decide to go LS then get ready to spend more money to convert everything over. Headers, fuel delivery, intake, electronics, stand alone system. That is with a carb not fuel injected.
