That's no better than my FZ1 and the FZ1 is 45 kg lighter
KS has top torque of FZ already at 4k rpm. And much higher top speed)
I had a 2012 FZ1. Boooooring! Now I have a K1200S. Fabulous!
From what I understand when you put a full system pipe on the K1300S Lambda is automatically removed as its in the stock pipe's Canister. Also Dyno numbers are all relative if you Dyno your bike back to back on two different dynos you will get different numbers everytime. What I do know is I am beating guys that I struggled to beat when my bike was stock.
Have you dyno'ed before these mods or "13 horses" is an estimation based on stock numbers? As for drivetrain loses, motorradonline magazine which uses dynojet dynamometer, has measured both whp and loses. The K1300R delivered 161whp on 6th gear and 173 to the crank. Shaft drive loses are about the same as chain loses. Your point about dyno numbers comparison is correct. lastly it is without a doubt, that you had hp improvements with these mods. 7 years later, hope you still ride this brilliant bike. Cheers.
Nice, but not as nice as my K1200s, same mods as yours but 169 bhp and 99lbs at the back wheel. Dont know why but the K12 does respond better to engine mods. Did you remove the lambda ?
Remember thats rear wheel horses, Not to the crank (which is what the maufactuer uses) This actually falls in line with the 175 HP(to the crank) that is listed by the manufactuer.
