Yes! You can use Deadly Strike, Order's Wrath, or even War Machine. The nice thing about eventually getting Runecarver is it benefits from all the nice fire bonuses.

No, you use Flare for the passive : While slotted you gain Major Protection, reducing your damage taken by 10%. This adds a bit of tankyness . This is a 1-bar Oaken-Plar PvE setup.

put on "purge" from alliance-war Support Line, Pop a war-tort and go do the pve stuff in IC , you'll have it up in no time ! But if you want another, use Repentence : While slotted on either bar, you gain Minor Fortitude, Minor Endurance, and Minor Intellect, increasing your Health, Stamina, and Magicka Recovery by 15%. & while there's dead on the ground hit it to heal you and allies plus restore stam. for 3K !

Good idea. Only thing is Overwhelming is around your character, so enemies would have to be close.

I've never used it, but looking at it, it could be fun. However, you have to be within 10 meters and it's a cone.

To incorporate the proc from your set bonus into the equation, we need to account for the additional shock damage that can be dealt by the set bonus. Since the proc chance is 15% and there is no cooldown, we can expect it to occur frequently given multiple ticks of shock damage. Let’s define some terms: • P as the proc damage from the set (1989 shock damage). • C as the chance for the proc (0.15 or 15%). • D as the number of damage ticks from your abilities. Your shock damage abilities: • Front Bar: Crushing Shock, Endless Fury (both spammable) • Back Bar: Unstable Wall of Storms, Boundless Storm (both DoTs) To calculate the expected proc damage, you can use the following formula for each tick of your abilities: \text{Expected Proc Damage per Tick} = P \times C The total expected damage from the proc over all ticks would be: \text{Total Expected Proc Damage} = D \times P \times C Since the proc can hit up to three targets, we can multiply this by the number of targets N: \text{Total Expected Proc Damage Across All Targets} = D \times P \times C \times N Now, let’s integrate this with the previous formula for the total damage: \text{Total Damage per Tick} = N \times (X + Y) + N \times P \times C \text{Total Damage} = T \times N \times (X + Y) + D \times P \times C \times N Here: • T is the total number of ticks. • X and Y are the damages per tick of your two DoT effects. • D is the total number of ticks where shock damage can occur (sum of ticks from Crushing Shock, Endless Fury, Unstable Wall of Storms, and Boundless Storm). • P is the proc damage (1989). • C is the proc chance (0.15). • N is the number of targets. This equation accounts for both the regular damage from your DoT effects and the additional expected damage from the set bonus proc. Long story short, the more adds/targets there are within 8~16m radius within your character and character's AoE's on the ground, the more effective this build becomes. Even when it comes to single target on boss', the hit-boxes are actually quite large on most bosses allowing your boundless storm to constantly hit and proc your front bar on top of all the other shock DoT's. I also think the Netch's Touch is better for single target wether it be burst or execute, overwhelming just provides much better sustain and shock cleave that can add an nth number of higher chance to proc Storm-Curse. Swapping sustain for raw spell damage is much more effective in the long run IMO.

Anyone with minimal experience on this game will eventually realize B and C class are for pussies :p A class all day, the mighty 3015 engines give you wings !

I main a sorc and the past few buffs have made the sorc so awesome. Add the scribing skills and it makes up for any class weaknesses.

I use it everywhere. Just did the latest trial with it on veteran. Also Infinite Archive. World bosses. I soloed a group boss in the latest public dungeon.

Very good suggestion. The big thing with this build is to see how that formula I discussed works with a 1 bar and the oakensoul is just so strong going 1 bar.
