Why didn't the designers go the extra mile and have an "Auto Align" feature that matches the eq bands detected with the reference or preset. Seems needlessly manual. I have the trial but so far not digging.

Nevermind the plugins, but the song "I can fly" is amazing. Where can I find it?

I nearly blew out my speakers due to the imbecilly loud sound effect in the beginning of this video of yours. Thanks a lot.. BTW, I was watching Netflix, "The Cronwn", a church scene (so NOT heavy metal w speakers on full volume) got bored, paused Netflix, and played your clip ...and nearly had a heart attack. There ended my following of your channel that had started about 1.9 seconds earlier. If your sound design is this amateurish, I will find my FF de-essing instructions elsewhere.

Nice review. I made tons of tests and for my taste i prefere to add Bassrrom after Mixroom in the chain. This way i can fell better the way lo freq will affect the mids and made some corrections on time

use both, the low end n compressor works better in Waves! also the mids is better in waves except the harsh top end when push to the max!

The reason why Waves haven't upgraded their SSL Channel strips is that there is no reason to upgrade them. In some of the world's most productive studios for many years. That's how how good they are:)

Great idea for a video. CLA-2A seemed more rounded while the others peaky. Too much messing around though in the video that doesn't let you A/B compare quickly and I don't understand why the intro was so long. Could cut this to 6 minutes.
