This game is about map control or spawn faster than you enemy if you like that better. It's not about K/D but it can be fun to get a good score here, but it usually don't affect the team winning or losing.

This game seriously needs auto team balance. Yesterday was just 6 straight hours of getting overrun by unbalanced teams. It ruined the game for me.

For new players it may be a bigger ask than going standard rifleman but in a squad I feel that the rifleman class should be the LAST option for anyone as the squad really could do with the unique benefits of the other classes - A squad leader/officer with a support player can build garrisons in friendly territory, with some hot swapping you can build a garrison behind enemy lines too, anti-tank is always good to have with you as you never know when you need it, engineers are a bit more complicated but always appreciated for nodes and cover structures - I started as a machine gunner and moved over to auto rifleman (which is a fairly useless class in all honesty other than full auto fire). Now I play officer, assault and anti-tank unless we're hot swapping support/engineer.

Solid video, looking forward to your next ones. I fell in love with engineer. If that's taken I'll look for support, then assault and officer or command if no one has filled them. Here are some things that new players confused by: -It's a TACTICAL team game. Be tactical, use cover, smoke, covering fire, etc. Unless you get told to do otherwise, STAY with your team, it's a squad after all. Matches can be 90 minutes long, this isn't a sprint. -It's a tactical TEAM game. Mic up and say hello, let them know your new but willing to learn. We love new players who want to learn and help. I'll take a level 5 with a mic any day, over a level 50 who never talks and runs off to do their own thing. -You don't really win by killing the other team, they'll just respawn and all it costs them is time. You win by getting in that stripped circle or "point" on the map and capturing it or defending it, eventually controlling all the points. So if your team is losing the point and you're off running in a field trying to get a 30th headshot, you're not helping and your team is going to lose. However, sitting in the active circle and posting up on a wall, while shooting the other team as they try to come in to take it, or pushing into the circle and trying to hold it are huge and VERY much appreciated. Also if the stripped circle has a padlock over it, you can't capture it so fighting and dying there isn't helping and you're probably losing another objective. -The game REALLY rewards you when you play as a team or do things that help the team and your side win. There are no kill streaks, headshot bonuses, points for kills over a certain distance, etc. It's less about you earning personal stats and more about doing stuff to help the team win. You get a 50% xp bonus if your team wins the match and 10% for each commendation a fellow player gives you, which they can do if you really played well and helped out. Things like building, dropping personal supplies from your inventory, defending or attacking an unlocked point are huge and reward you as such. -You have to be in a "tank squad," to get in a tank. That's because tanks take more work than COD or battlefield. You can't drive and shoot at the same time and switching between driver and gunner takes a hot minute. You also can't see behind you while driving so it's easy for a single player to get a satchel charge placed on their tail and blown up. If you see a tank squad with 1 or 2 players and are interested, jump in, tell them you're new and want to help. -Snipers are in the recon squad. There are only two per team and each one has a spotter who can communicate with command and other officers. They are best used to go behind enemy lines and destroy their outposts and garrisons, as well as calling in locations of interest to command. Hanging out on the battle line and shooting enemies can be helpful but it's not the only thing you should do, there is a time and place. Destroying an enemy garrison or outpost is worth way more. Hunting for headshots will only let them keep spawning and you'll just keep NOT getting a ton of xp and NOT helping the team win. If you start a recon squad from scratch you're locked in as spotter so you can't jump in and grab that sniper role automatically. -Go into your settings and turn up the distance that friendly player icons show up at. If you max it out, it's very easy to tell if that's a friendly running across the field.

Holy shit dude, that music. It's so annoying and loud compared to your voice. Why do youtubers think they should put awful music in their videos? And if you're going to do it, mix it right so it's not loud and annoying. That repetitive music made me click off this video way early.

I’m level 68 and I suck.

Actually very helpful, just started playing 2 days ago, have around 5hrs. Didn’t realize there was an audio cue for body shots.

I was ranked top 30% in cold war, 14 in the world on Vanguard. And after the first day of playing hell let loose i never touched COD after that. This game is so much better. Only complaint i got is new players. New players just need to watch vids like this and get better faster.
