This Is What Healing Is NOT
มุมมอง 46หลายเดือนก่อน
So many of us get caught up in the idea of being fully healed. “When I’m healed, then I can do that thing” or “I can’t wait until I’m fully healed from this.” We often glamorize the end result, when the true beauty is in the journey. Healing is NOT a destination. In this video, I discuss a component that has been key for me in the last 2 months: acknowledging the work done, seeing the growth an...

Proud of you dude, I love you
@@Pfeif8995 I love you too. Your friendship means the absolute world to me. ❤️
First video of yours I've watched. This is so on point with what so many people are going through. It's global. This is why sometimes I feel like covid is an example of "God working all things to the good of those who love Him." Covid shook a lot of people's lives. A lot of forced ... perspective shifts, and much more personal with so much isolation. It shifted from "what's going on out there" to "oh crap, what's going on in here (me)?" It has caused a lot of people to shift toward spirituality. To understand, to find hope, meaning in all the pain. This happening across the globe. It's been a massive call of God to His children. Come back to me, we have work to do. The real work of why we are here. The spiritual work. And where we are as a society, the first work has to be done within. There's an old song from the 80s or 90s by Four Him called Basics of Life. "We need to get back to the basics of life. A heart that is pure, a love that is kind." Just those 2 lines tell us what to do. And it surely lines up with what Jesus tells us to do. In order to love like God does, we can't be carrying hurt and pain. For hurt and pain are the true sins. They take us further from God. In our character, in our witness of who He is. If anyone made it through that, this is not personal. To you. But the relationship you build with God through this, will the most intimate, personal thing you experience. Like they said in the video, "Nobody can take that away from you." And because of this, we no longer feel lost. "But now I am found" fuels your soul. Be blessed! We are living in amazing times when you take on the mantle of Christ's perspective.
Thank you so much for adding your perspective! Covid was horrible I’m so many ways, but you’re right; it forced a lot of people to look inward and upward. A relationship with God is incredibly important and personal!

Parenting is, BY FAR, the most important job you will ever have in life. HOW you parent your kiddos will reflect for GENERATIONS, either as a curse or a blessing - - Truth Ty!

Hey guys, this video really resonated with me. In my personal life I have made a plethora of bad choices and I mirror everything Logan said. Between making bad choices and dedicating or feeling like im dedicating myself to my relationships I found myself giving up everything that I felt identified myself I.e. giving up my hobbies and activities that bring me joy. This caused me to have no identity and wound up hating myself. I still struggle with this every day. I feel very “less than” on a daily basis. What I have learned through various sources is that you Must take care of yourself first before you can truly give a pure love. I have returned to my hobbies like fishing, camping, shooting and gold panning. I feel much better about myself and my family has been extremely supportive. I wish I had this knowledge decades ago. Ty, you are doing a great job! I’m proud of you and look up to you. Keep up the good fight! “Do it scary!”
Thank you for being vulnerable here man. It’s not easy sharing our stories, and you sharing part of your story here is huge. I’m super happy to hear that you are finding joy in hobbies again and getting back to who YOU are. Being down in the dumps is awful; keep fighting the fight and we will do it scared together 🙏🏽❤️
I love you both, and I’m so lucky to call you my friends. I’m proud of you, and am thankful for your vulnerability in talking about this, in supporting one another, and sharing this with all of us. 💜

Co-dependency is much more common than we realize, and can absolutely be draining for us! There’s a lot of strength in detachment and setting boundaries 🙏🏽
I’m glad you’re sharing these videos. I really know too many awesome men who feel like they are alone in their struggles, and this just shows that that is completely untrue. Proud of you Ty!
We all have our individual struggles, but oftentimes, they involve some of the same things. Hopefully these are able to help people at any point in their healing journey 🙏🏽
I love the emphasis on ‘choice’ in this video. It’s such a powerful concept-what do we choose to do about situations, and how much does that choice truly mean to us? I’ve made plenty of ‘choices’ when I was in my humility window, but like you, I’ve often struggled to follow through. Looking back, I realize that while those choices were probably what I ‘should’ do, they didn’t hold enough personal value for me to stick with them. Lately, I’ve been focusing on two things as I navigate life: A) Doing what I genuinely value and can commit to (which, of course, is easier said than done). B) Leading with love and kindness in all that I do. Thank you for this week’s message-it resonates with me. And I love the reminder in the background: ‘You are Enough.’
I like what you said about doing things you can commit to. We often set lofty goals, especially in that humility window. Being realistic with ourselves and patient with ourselves is another crucial part of the journey. Amazing insights, and I’m glad this video resonated with you 🙏🏽
