I wish to make one confession today. Honestly, I do have a bias towards lawyers who pursue/complete their masters from top universities in the world. That is because it is very hard to secure admissions there and only meritorious lawyers make it to the top law schools in the world particularly Harvard, Oxford , Yale , Cambridge etc.
The Amicus is an illustrious alumnus from Oxford University. But he did not stop there as he went on to pursue a Ph.D. degree from a top National Law School in the country. Hence there is so much respect for him.
It is unfortunate to see that 'The Academic pursuit/journey comes to a halt in the case of majority of young lawyers the moment they either start practicing law or start working at law firms or for companies etc. If you do not continue to study or pursue courses while you are working then how will you evolve intellectually as lawyers. This is the time for introspection and course correction.
