I recently did my first model location shoot in New Zealand with the fabulous Zee. A few months before the shoot Zee had undergone major surgery whilst in ICU, her abdominal scar can be seen in some of the images. This say's something about the strength of character of this beautiful model. Thank you for working with me Zee.

you should try tahuna back beach, always snapper there and Kawhai. My go to place. If they allowed drones to fly in that area , im sure id catch huge ones.

So, virtually everything I said in this video was incorrect! They are not the native New Zealand Praying Mantis but an introduced species from South Africa and they are both females! I will keep looking for the native species...
I used to live on George Street above one of the shops. haven't been back to NZ in over 5 years, as I'm living in Finland now. Feels like a lifetime ago.
I used to fish in that exact spot 15 years ago !!! Piles of small snapper , never kept any but good fun on dusk . Thanks for the memory refresh
