(Sunday August 13, 2023) I guess the original floor buttons were so high that people in wheelchairs couldn't reach them. That must be why the car-operating panel needed a partial replacement. I have seen the trailer of "Winnie the Pooh - A Very Merry Pooh Year" a lot of times, & heard the whole cast singing "Auld Lang Syne" at the end of the trailer. That's why I wanted to included it at the end of this video too.

Jon, can you check out the 1951 otis at the Winterthur museum store? It is EPIC.
I thought this was a Schindler or Montgomery for some reason, and this elevator was out of service during my 2022 visit. This rundown mall is about to get redeveloped starting in January.

I believe these are Haughton because of the floor passing chime.
Actually this is more similar to Macy's at the Mall in Columbia in Columbia, Maryland. The ones that Willow Grove and Newport Center have a completely different cab design than this thing. Plus they have vertical lanterns instead of horizontal lanterns.
The elevator that once stood here was not a Westinghouse it was a Schindler. Pennsylvania elevator records indicated that it was Schindler, plus since it was installed in 1996, 7 years after the merger with Schindler, it was a Schindler.
This can't be Otis. If it was Otis it would have the Otis interlock and Otis logo on the door track. But it doesn't.
