Like my man said, fill the base with water or sand so you throw heavier punches. I’d say get some 14 or 16oz gloves aswell as they will help with cardio due to the extra weight. Get in a boxing gym and they will teach you correct stances and footwork etc. Punches to the chest are not going to do much either but don’t listen to the hate my brother but do listen to the criticism idk

What art are you training? I really don't mean to be a d**k but if you're supposed to get promoted to "purple" or somryhing, you should 100% change gyms/dojo.
