As someone fascinated with accents, where is Ash Rathod's accent from (I assume somewhere in the UK and with a background of a second native language, but I'd assume it's still broadly from a certain region in the UK, right?) 27:24 lol, what!? is that really how Brits pronounce urinals!? 🤣

Leicester (in the UK). Born and bred. But very mixed as I've lived in London and Manchester too. Parents of Indian origin. Appreciate your interest. Ash.

Excellent interview - brought out many of Rory’s pearls of wisdom on topics such as quantification bias and tolerance of ambiguity, as well as a new thought on plastic bag psychology!

@@WaterCoolerBrandTalks The 1000 followers explanation. Richards talks on positioning. Saying the right things to the right people. Resonating more with the right people. Producing the right content to attract more of the right people even if you don't have a big following. The takeaway according to Richard - Focusing on going deep 1on1 with the individual and that's ultimately why people in his group get deals with 1500 followers. I feel like if I can find a way to go deeper with the people I'm serving I can get more business its just finding out how to do it.
