This podcast is well done, Kalea! It was good to see you. Your projects are great! Elaine (Penelope's grandma)
It was so nice to see you again, your blanket is gorgeous!
I’m not a knitter but I love the vibes and this makes me want to knit
You are truly precious!!
So nice to see a young person knitting! So much healthier then being on tecky stuff! Keep it up!
You can buy the corran cardigan on ravelry
I just finished the Jane Richmond Raglan and it was fantastic!
Can’t wait to start on mine!
Do you think this would be a ok first project for a new knitter? If there are difficult places in the pattern could you do a video in tutorial form to help me ? Let me know, hugs, charlene
Hi Charlene! I do think that the Stockholm Slipover by Petite Knit would be a lovely first project for an ambitious new knitter. I find that Petite Knit’s patterns are very clear, and she already has video tutorials for the trickiest bits on her website. Good luck with your knitting endeavors!
I’m so glad you’re back. Your work looks amazing. Visited Harrods once. It’s gorgeous. That bag is beautiful 😻
Thank you so much!
Hi, your slip over looks so good! How did your sister like her socks and dress?
Thank you, I love it too! And she loves them, excited for her to wear them through this spring!
Thanks for another episode! I really enjoyed it. Enjoy your trip to the UK!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love this! I learned so much!❤️
I love the Dagmer dress. What size did you make? I need size for 8yr old. My Granddaughter will love this dress as long as dress is not real heavy.
Hello! I made the size 6-7 year for a 6 year old. But because every kid is different, I would go off their measurements rather than age! And the weight of the dress definitely depends on the yarn you decide to use, so be conscious of that. Thanks for tuning in!
I’m just learning how to make socks. Yours are beautiful ❤
Thank you! They are so rewarding once you get the hang of it. You can do it!
That was amazing!
Congratulations on your first episode! Did you have a pattern for your succulent plant?
Yes! I made it using a video tutorial, here’s the link: m.th-cam.com/video/MNJLrZrh1N8/w-d-xo.html Thanks so much for watching!
Awww! You're too sweet!! Excited to keep up with your journey! <3
How old are you and how did you learn to knit?? In 58 have been a crocheter for 47 yrs and I just can't get the catch. I swear I'm trying to invent a new curse word and when I do I'm opening my front door and throwing my knit pick needles and my chaigoo large set and I'm going to scream my invented curse word and out the door all the knitting stuff is gone! I will be knitting along and all of a sudden I find dropped stitches. Where did those come from? So how old are you and who taught you to knit & how long you been knitting? I subscribed you can share the love I have a channel it's sad though. You make project bags? Oh my I'm going to kill myself Who buys your yarn? Do they complain? My hubby has to buy mine because I'm very ill and had a nervous breakdown when I had to quit being a nurse in the Neonatal icu. I've had my 146th surgery and I can no longer walk.. and I want to knit so much. If I could knit I would do Christmas gifts ONLY IF KNIT WORTHY! Oh I want to knit so bad and I really am making me sick over not knitting. Ok I'm calling you tomorrow and you.better have those socks flying off the needles for that sweet baby Make the toad stool sock and save them for baby sister to grow her feet bigger. Lol Girl you gonna have to make me a bag to hold my needles.before I toss them lol. Omg I love that skein of yarn for that sweet baby sissy dress. You are one great older sister!
Thank you so much for watching! Knitting sure comes with its own challenges, but perseverance and motivation has been key for me over the past 1 1/2 years I’ve been knitting! I can’t wait to check out your channel as well! Thanks again!
I really enjoyed your podcast! You are quite accomplished-knitting and sewing looks terrific!
My fav colour is blue too! And your lil sister is adorable 😆
Hi! Great first episode! I am planning to knit the No Frills sweater in worsted weight Red Heart yarn. I know the pattern calls for DK. For your sweater did you have to go down a size because the yarn was heavier or did you just knit your size?
Hi Marisa, thank you so much for tuning in! For my No Frills sweater, I did knit the size recommended, however because I knit with such a tight gauge, I also had to go up a needle size, which accommodated the yarn well. It is a bit of a denser fabric, but I would recommend knitting yourself a test swatch to get the fabric that you like, and then choose your size from there! There is so much positive ease built into the sweater as well, that going down a size wouldn’t hurt either. I hope this can help!
Incredible!
