I had this on LP several years ago. Good to find it on TH-cam.

Without a doubt, the most brilliant comedian of all time. I wore out this and all of his other albums memorizing every word. No disrespect to Robin Williams and George Carlin, but Billy is simply the best. Danny Bhoy is this generations nod to Billy's genius. If you haven't heard him, you definitely should look into him.

My favourite episode ever is Alice in sunderland😂

I own this album... I remember discovering the Marx Brothers on late night TV in Boston. Frank Avruch and "The Great Entertainment". Frank would appear in full tux and give a back story of the movie channel 5 had for the evening. That evening the "The Big Store" was the presentation, I watched and was transformed, spending the rest of my life filling in the blanks of a simpler, happier more amazing time. Tonight some 50 years, later I stumble upon this download, and find myself thinking how much I owe Julius, and how impressed I am with his brilliance, resilience...and all the joy he brought into this world.

From what I know now is that Lenny Bruce was a CIA operative. His mission was to control the counterculture and any revolution against the establishment.

'Be Sincere' was beautifully sung. Just like Ken Dodd, Max Miller was a surprisingly strong singer not only of comic songs but also of emotional ballads.

This album got a bit of a hammering when it came out, as if it was a let down compared to his first Sir Henry LP, but I LOVED it! It just takes a bit of listening, it’s not as immediate as the first LP but its genius just takes a bit longer to sink in. Vivian Stanshall was a one-off…a comic genius in the Spike Milligan mould. But Viv could write better songs!!
