The weight is for each side so two people each at 375 can be on
Just got a slightly used one of these on FB, it’s about 68-69 inches fully compacted. It just fit flat in my Golf hatchback with the rear seats folded down and the from passenger seat pushed all the way forward. 😅
I hate thick grips. I love the standard knipex coated grips and the handles shaped right to be comfortable. Too thick gets in the way and feels like it reduces pressure applied
Looks good.👍 this is the mount I need
Nice video Sir! Quick suggestion, mount the dish beside the roof. Your location is really great because the house does give some obstructions. You will get 190mb+ speed if mounted on top of the roof. Thank you
I’m sorry …. but did you just say, “pop a rod”? LOL!!!
Wrong batteries can not use 20V
Good review but not the way to load new line. You only need to take the cap off if there is an issue. To reload the spool just cut the length of line you want, feed the line through the hole. Pull each side to equal lengths. Hold the cap and twist the winding ring. No need to disassemble the head, no need to keep tension on the line, no need to hold the head in place with a nail or any other device. Reloading the line couldn't be easier.
I'd also like to know.
Is this trailer lightweight easy pull
NWS is made in Germany, cheaper than Knipex. Make everything Knipex does. Fyi
I’m to the point I buy the icon version of any knipex tool. The snap on style handles on the icons are just so much nicer than the knipex. I’ve tried all of the knipex handles including the vde and dislike all three.
I’m surprised that a lot of people don’t know about opening the dip stick/filler cap when draining the oil. Makes it flow much better.
What size battry
I got a 20 volt had a hell of time restring my 1st since then showed 2 outhers how to restring its not hard
You did a good video but you didn't have to take the top out
As a note , your pin oak would be much easier to mow around if properly trimmed up.
Just referred back to this video to see some of the particulars for this exact model (the one I have too). The clips on the fuel filter were nice to know about ahead of time, and the actual location and being one directional. But, what really helped and I almost screwed up was relistening to the part that told about the actual oil cap "turning to the right , then popping off". Wow, I had some heavy duty wrenches ready to go. I would've wrecked the cap. So, thanks for making this video and sharing it!
now show us how to raise it when fully extended
I've been told the slight difference in geometry of the head holds bolt better but i already got the icon the knipex isn't that much more edit: still got time to exchange just am i going to be lazy 🤔
refeeding the trimmmer look like a realll pain to do by your self . but the rest seem well
Thanks for sharing!
I purchased a 60v Trimmer in 2021 (DCST970X1) and couldn’t stand the head on it. I eventually replaced it with a Husqvarna T-35 and larger guard. It was like night and day with the T-35. I purchased one of these with the weed trimmer/edge trimmer combo. The first thing I did was replace the head with another T-35. IMO, the heads that Dewalt make are terrible. I Really like the power-head tool. I also purchased the pole-saw. 😊
Imagine putting any head other than a speed feed head on a trimmer
Got the parrot nose icon with 30% coupon for 14$ very nice pliers
Great video, shows where everything is and how easy it is to switch.
HF they need to have a complete set T8, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, T40
K-nip-ex, not K-nee-pex Just wanted you to know since you're reviewing the tools.
take that back to Germany, and your woman rep short..... we say nip-pex here
Watch the promotional videos by Knipex themselves. He is pronouncing it exactly as it should if we follow their lead.
Now pronounce Bayerische Motoren Werke
This is the wrong way to string the trimmer! The spool cover DOES NOT have to be removed in order to add line. Just align the marks and holes. Also the entire spool can indeed be removed and replaced with another brand like the famous Echo Speed Feed 400.
You seem to have employed a saw or other cutter to get the dish to seat into the bracket - ?
How short is it in extension mode?
What are you using for the strip across the top?
Can you please share how to find the stud behind the white siding???
Based on viewing and reading these two comments this guy is not too smart.
The first channel lock was 9 inch with smooth jaws
During the restring of the Bush Trimming the lightning was pretty poor
Icon come with %25 discount. Anything life time warranty and I can change it tomorrow. I go for it
Why did you take the top of the spool off to restring? You don't have to do that. Good video otherwise.
If the icons are 22 and you actually pay full price at Harbor Freight which almost no one does. we wait for a 25% off coupon, and the canipex 37 the Knipex pex are approx 70% more
🔴🔴 (09/20/23 I just saw a guy using a small tiller about 8 inches wide in hard dert worked nice. Not sure if it was Dewalt or aftermarket. I just bought the trimmer the other day thinking I have a bag full of 20v batteries. They don't work in it and no adapter is available at this time to use these batteries just thought I would put that out there.
I want one of those also.
Have the edger attachment, cuts very nicely, however, blade protector is made out Of plastic, after having it for a short period of time it broke off where the screws attach It to the blade assembly. DeWalt, could We make this out of a quality Alloy cover instead?
I saw thinking of getting this set of screwdrivers. How are they holding up?
I think you need to add some weight to the box to push it down
Just a heads up, with the brush cutter attachment. Most of your cuts you are moving to left, it works best moving to the right. The brush/stick edges against the little ledge and then the blade spins in like a pair of scissors to cut it off.
After you raised the ‘shanks’ to smooth out what you roughed up, did you change the top link length for a different blade angle?
'promo sm' 👀
You can pretend to have the new Easy Change oil change. First you take a s50 dollar bill and throw it in the trash. Change your filter leaving all the dirty oil in the engine and top off the engine wth dirty oil. Gives you all the advantages of the easy change and guarantees you will ruin your engine and will need to buy a new motor or replace the machine which will add profits to John Deere. Be a sport.
We happen to have the large "Little Giant" if you ever need to add to your collection.
5:54 as far as I can tell there is only one model of the knipex raptor, the 250mm you have.
I got the icon with a 25% off coupon and it was like $18.30 after tax. At that price I could get 2 of these for the price of one Knipex. I agree with your view on these. Knipex is better I have a couple of their pliers and do like them but I’m not a pro so I can get through with ICON just as well for my uses.
Odd question but do these have a directionality? Like is there a specific way or positioning that they’re meant to be used? What I’m asking in case it’s not clear is are they meant to turn in one way to loosen and flipped the other way to tighten?
yes
All pliers-wrenches of any kind (Cobra, Raptor, etc) are meant to be turned towards the mouth opening, or in the direction that the jaw closes. Hook it over, then push the lever that closes the lower jaw. The same force that turns the wrench closes the jaw, instead of having to apply a force for clamping and a separate force for turning (if you were to be turning it backwards). That's why the lower jaw arm is usually bigger than the top/hook arm. If you only use one of the wrench arms to turn it, you'll see that pushing the correct way (on the lower jaw's arm) is the only way that works.
