In case someone else mentioned it, my apologies. But perhaps consider a ratchet strap from ykur rear tires to serve as an anchorline for yiur side straps vs attaching directly to your wheel well??? Just a consideration. Great video my friend, thank you for sharing!

Is the best way to remove it just to pull it straight out. Its such a tight fit i didnt know if there was an easier way or not.

I’m on my second truck bed tent and to protect my trucks paint for the straps and hooks I always just carry a length of foam pipe insulation with me. Set up the tent, cut the foam to length and slip it over the straps

Too much effort needed... time consuming...

Thanks for the video. With the clips it seems like a piece if rubber tubbing slid over the hook would help protect the paint.
