I wanted to appreciate you for making this video as a combination of opinions and facts, i agree with many of your points such as: 1. there was objectification of women in kabir singh and it can't be denied as this is backed by the director's comments as shown in your video. 2.the industry is now marketing excessive violence as one of the selling points because it increases the young 18 plus audience 3.movies compromising story or plot for violence or action scenes should be criticised 4.movies make any type of fight look cool BUT i disagree on many points too: 1.if a person as you mentioned in many cases that happened in real life kills or does a crime in a specific way it might be possible that he chose that specific way because he saw it on tv but why did he have the intention to commit the crime in first place like in aftab fridge case he already had the motive its just the way he chose was from a web series. 2. movies like kill also fall under your criticism but they are great movies backed up by plot and the need of violence you can't just criticise a war movie just because it showcases warcrimes. 3.also in movies like gangs of wasseypur the violence is very real and it was actually based on real incidents you can't criticise a biopic just because it has scenes the protagonist did in real life but are gruesome to show on tv like the series on "DAHMER" 4. in kabir singh except the objectification part all the violence part is due to the anger manage ment issues kabir is suffering from before even meeting preeti 5. I think the topic about violence has suddenly risen up because nowadays director have shifted towards more of a raw approach earlier you were only shown upto a person getting shot or smacked by a hammer but now directors are focusing on its aftermath too like in marco movie # also any movie backed with plot and great writing >>>>> movie with mid plot mid writing but packed with violence i hope you will see this as constructive criticism thank you❤

I watched your full video and as an avid consumer of world cinema did encounter a few flaws and plot holes in your video, let's start with the point where you quoted "Directors would focus on curating movies that lack content and are packed with violence as such as Marco, Animal and Kabir Singh". Now as someone who spends a lot of time watching movies, I want to put some light on the fact that Kabir Singh first is a movie about a mental patient who suffers from severe anger management issues, which is made clear in the first 30 minutes of the movie where the Dean of the College tells the new batch that Kabir, the star student has Anger Management issues, moreover abundance of money and Kabir himself being an academic prodigy adds to his anger issues and egoistic tendencies. The movie is a character-based film that works and delivers on the character development and growth of Kabir as an individual, who realizes his flaws by the end of the movie, aims to work on them and become a better person. Animal now, is India's unofficial adaptation of Hollywood's 'The Godfather', which is a cult classic in terms of story telling, violence and film aesthetics, Animal follows a similar story line, a powerful father, a mentally challenged son who is obsessed with his father and when the father suffers through an assassination attempt, the revenge of the son, his transition from an empathetic and rational person to an animal is the main essence of the movie. This basic storyline is meddled a little with foreshadowing, attention to detail, some drama and masala and memorable song and the BGM. Indian audience terms movies like Animal and Kabir Singh as contentless and brainless violent ventures because we aren't open to such spectacles in any way and understanding deep stories is not our cup of tea, or at least is not the cup of tea of majority Indian Cinema Consumers. John Wick, SAW, The Godfather, The Transporter, Taken are just to name a few that work on violence with deep story just as Kabir Singh and Animal if the movies are watched like a true appreciator of Cinema and Theater without societal biases and morals and well, Aamir Khan at the end of the video might be a big hypocrite for his statement as he was the one who did Ghajini, one of the most violent movies of the previous decade and also Dhoom 3, not as violent but violence is violence at every level. Hope I made my point.
