Yo,what a perfect traveler. 📢
Hey there! Will you answer the pinned questions, traveler?😁
Answer these questions in the comments! 1. What’s your favorite place to get away to for a vacation? 2. Have you ever had to check in at a hotel or airport? 3. When was the last time you had to drop someone off at the airport or train station? 4. Have you ever run out of something important while traveling? 5. What’s a memorable place or thing you’ve come across by chance while traveling?
1. Well, for getting away for a vacation I prefer the nature where I can go for a longer walk and I don't meet many other people. Scotland or Norway, for example. 2. I often had to check in at a hotel or airport as I travel almost every year. And, of course, I had to check out too. 3. In order to get away my neighbors asked me to drop them off at the station 2 years ago. 4. 10 years ago we lost orientation while we were hiking in the highlands of Scotland. We ran out of time as it was getting darker and darker. But after midnight we finally arrived at our bed&breakfast. 5. While driving with our rental car along the coast of Scotland we came across a lot of beautiful sceneries.
@@TheChris1701 wow, thank you for such interesting and detailed answers!🤩 Where are you from? :)
@@yuliya_lingua I'm from Northern Germany. We have many beaches and some beautiful coasts around here and especially in summer many tourists spend their vacations in our region. I can't imagine to move away from here as I love living near the coast, but as I said before I like traveling as well. Since January I've been trying to improve my English skills and that's why I watch videos like yours. Of course, I hope to see more 🙂 Additionally, I've been learning Spanish for almost 2 years now.
@@TheChris1701 That's amazing! I would really like to travel around Germany, but so far I have only been to Berlin. Btw, I've also been studying Spanish for several years now. I really love this language!
@@yuliya_lingua Thank you for your answer! Yes, I love Spanish too, it's a fantastic language! And btw, Germany has a lot of beautiful places. Maybe you'll have the opportunity someday.
Dear Yulia. You are quite talented actor but your idioms "bouquet" dried long ago. Thank you anyway; you refreshed my memory.

Please, don't say 'like a native.' In the US, 'native' is often used as the short 'Native American' and that's not what you mean. You mean 'native speaker.' There are other issues with that (maybe you weren't born in the country, but you still speak the language as a native language), but it's better than just saying 'native.'
@@romyf4027 ok, thank you!

How about: "I admire ..." or "I'm crazy about (sth.)" Or why not just use adjectives in some cases: The dinner is enjoyable/pleasant. The dish is delicious/fantastic. The dish was an excellent choice. The vine is tasty. Your dress is adorable/pretty/beautiful. The music they are playing is nice/enjoyable/ so relaxing ...

Me thinks I detect a slight foreign accent. No criticism, but as an English man of 63 years of age. I don't know any English people who do this. To be fair English people probaly don't speak proper English. You will stand out as a foreigner when you speak properly. As a social norm when we ask the question the only acceptable answer is 'I'm fine, thanks'. We're not interested in your problems, we don't want to know, keep it to yourself. We don't want to enter into deep meaningful discussions.

The only correct answer is “good how are you” no one actually cares about how you are, they are only bound by the rules society forces upon us. We are not a society driven by care but by the disparages between social classes as the middle class is forced to suppress their true self as they waste away for those more powerful, which is why communism is [censored]

@@whatalifesosimple5583 👍
That's a trick question. "How are you" is normally a greeting not a question and the proper response back is "how are you" because let's be honest neither of us care how the other is doing
