Oct 15 Political Discussion with an Old Friend
Interesting discussion Freddie & Tim! Trump has a lot on his plate for sure. I hope that his administration can tackle the huge financial deficit and still keep the economy rolling. Should be a very interesting four years!
Well, it’s been an interesting first week. Let’s hope his plans work.
Gotta play ball!
We Canucks love our country, and we like having Yanks as NEIGHBOURS.
you are delusional, he can not even play checkers, not sure he could play hopscotch without cheating
Interesting discussion Freddie and crew! It will be interesting to see how the Trump administration handles all of the political nonsense going forward. I would also be surprised if he manages to get half of his political agenda approved by Congress & the Senate.
Another interesting topic and discussion guys. Hopefully with Trump in charge this country can get back on track and proceed down a more positive and productive path! 👍👍
So all these people can stop paying taxes? Legally murder and avoid prosecution?
How is that even legal ?
America is fcuked.
United States has nothing of interest to Canadians. End your wars and close your 800 war bases. Spend U.S. money on your own people and be PEACEFUL. ❤❤
Thanks for your comments. We appreciate your comments and support.
Another excellent discussion! Even if it involved talking politics! I agree with all of you about what Trump will hopefully accomplish while in office. This country really needs a strong no nonsense president that knows how to get things done. The next four years is going to be very interesting indeed! Perhaps you should also discuss what Trump's presidency will have on the stock market. 👍👍
We’ve done a few podcast before and after the election on what effects the new Trump administration will have on the equity and bond markets. Check out some of our earlier shows.
That’s how it’s supposed to work. Definitely not how it works today.
As a 70 yr old Canadian monetary reformists, I did enjoy the peaceful business tranaction information. 😮 ❤❤❤
Thanks for your comments. Please subscribe to help us grow this channel. We try to say that our approach is to discuss issues that arise when Economics, Politics and Personalities go in different directions.
Another excellent discussion Fred, Tim & Steve! Hopefully the incoming Trump administration can maintain some sanity in the US fiscal monetary policy/markets!
Another excellent program Freddie! I always learn a little something from listening to you guys talk about markets & money. My knowledge of that topic boils down to "buy low and sell high"! 👍👍
Thanks Steve. That’s what we’re trying to accomplish, pass on some of what we’ve learned over 40 years in the financial markets and make it fun. Thanks for the support
Every time i listen I learn something new. Thank you
Enjoying the videos Freddie! BTW, where can I get a copy of that article "Young Traders Run Currency Markets"? Can you email it to me so that I can print it out? Thanks & Happy New Year!
Interesting discussion Fred & Tim. One thing for sure is that the Trump administration will be much better than any WOKE administration! Good thing that he was elected! BTW, that John story was pretty funny!
Interesting discussion cousin Freddie. I don't know much about the Crypto or Blockchain markets but this was very informative. Alex definitely knows this topic well. BTW, you have a new subscriber! Hope that all is well! Cousin Steve from CT! 👍👍
Thanks Steve, I'm glad you found this interesting. I try to do these around 2 or 3 times a week. I always appreciate the comments
Wow! Excellent revelation but inevitable
Thanks Steve
Great story on John. And looking forward to upcoming guest
Really enjoying these podcasts keep up the good work. Can’t wait to hear next episode. I caught up on a few last night.
Nice job on this podcast market commentary.
Much appreciated! Thanks Jason
Always good to listen to the insights from @marketsandmadness Happy new year and best of luck always
I remember the John story really well!
Well done men. Looking forward to future discussions! Happy New Year!!
Thanks Pat. I'm sure you can appreciate some of those old stories.
The fed has to go
Thanks Fred !

Hey Flannagan, it's been a while since you bought me lunch. Must catch up. Rat - Lloyds Spot dollar yen (100 years ago!).
I appreciate your reticence to not use Voice Broking, but how many Lunches, Dinners or Days Out did the Computer buy you? Did you even go to Lunch?
Interesting point about the next 100 days. Do traders react immediately following the election or do they wait until January 20, when he would take office assuming he wins. Good to see you Tim. Fred, excellent as always.
Another excellent podcast. Well done gentleman
WOW this was just great!
Great podcast! Keep it up!
Thanks Mohsin, I would love to get you on one day
I don't believe we will know who won on Wednesday after voting. Also, I believe the Tax discussion could just be propaganda--congress has the purse strings and i don't believe it will happen--just me. Great discussion--Thanks.
Thanks for the input, yes I agree Wed morning we will probably still be in the dark. In 2000 it took months to figure who won.... remember the 'hanging chad'
Paraphrasing Mr. Lifson, "not many people have the time, interest, or effort to take opposing view to decide who is right and who is wrong." We get second opinions on investing, medical decisions, etc... many spend numerous hours a day checking on social media what their friends are having for lunch and respond either like or dislike. It my job to listen to all sides and make my own decisions. I know too many people who only watch or read the news outlets they agree with. Whatever happened to "an educated consumer is our best customer", it worked when buying a suit, it should work when picking an elected official. People need to make the time. My credo is "Open Debate with Mutual Respect", society has lost sight of that. So Sad. Love the discussions, keep it up!
Gary thanks for your comments, always to the point. I tried not to make this a channel on politics but these elections have so much to do with the markets that it's impossible to separate them right now.
Thanks for Market lessons, as a novice, it a topic of major importance.
Hey this came up on my feed. I knew these guys!
HI George, I hope you find the discussion interesting
Love the phone booth story
