I'm so glad you mentioned learning how to sew! When I was younger I always thought I wasn't good enough at sewing to fix my clothes. I said screw it and started about a year ago and it has been an absolute game changer! It's especially helpful for people like us who only have access to fast fashion.

my partner's first language was spanish & learned english at ~7yo. i only spoke english until high school so it always surprises me what linguistic details get mixed up because they speak with little to no accent. verb conjugations, figures of speech, and the occasional forgotten word. it's fun what language does in your brain

This is literally the story of my life but it took me so long to realize it. I've only recently realized how important it is to slow down both physically and mentally if that makes sense. For some time I was living in a slower manner but my mind was just constantly racing (being guilty of resting and thinking about what I should've been doing instead...). Now I try to take my time, be more mindful and use less social media. It's helping a lot. I'm glad the video showed up in my feed. Sometimes we just need to hear something out loud to truly realize it. Thank you :)
