I love that this set came with many printed pieces, makes it look so much cleaner. The hot dog stand is another little gem of this set, overshadows obviously by the truck but I love how the hot dogs come together! Thanks for watching!

Yes, this is the only LEGO competitor I have tried but I have found them to be high quality and really good builds. The price point is extremely attractive too

Thanks! These have become my go to sets when there isn't a lot to pick from on LEGO. This set felt like it took a while, probably because there is so much wiring of the lights.

@@colsbricks yep. It is an older set so wiring not as finessed as the newer sets. But a solid looking set. I just finished their new farm cheese house and two medieval sets.

Ya this I realized is actually a remake of an older speed champions f40 they made years ago!

I'm sure there is, the primary part of the stand sits on a 2x8 brick, so if you can use a smaller brick you could easily lower it

Thanks! I like doing these Technic gear bike builds, but they can be tricky and without any additional info I didn't know its supposed to faster or slower. I thought it was more forward, backward or reverse functions

@@colsbricks Yeah I hear you. On a real motorcycle there's no reverse, and this transmission on a simplified scale actually is pretty similar to how an actual motorcycle transmission works. But on a real motorcycle the engine only spins one way since power is going from engine -> wheel. But on this, since power is going wheel -> engine the engine can spin either way. So should roll the same backwards or forwards in 1st, 2nd, or neutral. The only difference should be the piston speed in 1st vs 2nd, and in neutral they may not move, or may move slightly due to residual energy transfer through slippage. There's no ratcheting mechanism in this model which would allow it to go in 1 direction but not the other. So I'd say a piston or gear is getting jacked up on yours, which is causing the wheel to lock. Something in the transmission isn't moving freely.

Def worth the price!

This is a fun set! With these sometimes I feel the lighting kit makes the build take longer because you have to make sure the connections line up properly and get all the wiring routed correctly. This one I had trouble getting the 3rd floor lighting in place without having to apply extra force on to get it to connect. Otherwise, its a lot of fun and for the price you cant beat it! I would say that wiring and troubleshooting any lighting issues probably took me an additional hour of the build. Still worth it tho!

Yeah it's a lot bigger than I thought, the sails make it really big and tall for sure. The set is a lot different from other technic sets and the functionality is pretty cool but the way that it's built it really is a good display piece. Thanks for watching!

@@colsbricks yeah I think it’s exactly the same build as the white one, just different colors. I haven’t build the white one yet.
