As a guitarist, I'm going to tell you this now: I have seen many people pick up the guitar only to leave it in their closet collecting dust. Please, do not do this. It will be hard at first, but for the love of everything, DO NOT GIVE UP IF THINGS GET HARD. Once you get past the beginner struggles, like memorizing open chords, barre chords, scales, hammer-ons, and pull-offs, you will have so much fun. Do not expect it to be easy; it won't be. Some things will be hard, but when you get past them, greatness awaits on the other side.
Also don’t expect to get girls, unless you can sing.
