Hellooo😂
Make a movie this is very interesting!! I live right down the road from Alamance battle ground
As a descendant of James Few, who was executed on May 16 (or 17), 1771, almost immediately following the Battle, to appease the militia, I would love to hear more of his story, that of his brother, William (a self-taught lawyer who became a senator of GA and a signer of the Constitution), his wife (and alleged affair with, or affections bestowed upon by, Col. Fannin, and remarriage to a Tory), and what became of his infant children and property. I notice he barely receives a mention, if at all, although I find it intriguing and really want to know more.
I need to visit this place and this guy
Book Ten!
Do you have any proofs of the Quakers supplying Flour to the Patriots? I am trying to prove service for Thomas Lindley for my DAR application. Thomas Lindley was a Quaker and died the day after the battle. He owned the mill during the Revolutionary War. But I’m sure you know that 😊
Captain Benjamin Merrell was my 5th Great-grandfather through my mother’s side, and we are descended through his youngest son, Jonathan.
Hi All, It appears Captain Merrill was my 6th Great Grandfather on my Maternal Grandmother,s line. So nice to see the History and all of newly found cousins.
Awesome video... John Allen house located at the battleground - He is my 5th great-grandfather. Herman Husband (leader of the Regulators) was his brother-in-law.
My name is Kristy Jordan. My 7th great grandfather was Enoch Pugh and my 7th great granduncle was Captain Benjamin Merrell (Merrill). I am very proud of them both. ❤️🤍💙
I cant believe she is 70 years old. She looks so good.
She's delightful!
She’s incredible.
Not sure why this was suggested in my feed but so glad I watched it! What a great event! She's lovely. Also being a writer with ADD with half Spanish heritage living in Phoenix, i definitely needed to see this 😜
I was there! Thank you so much for posting this footage from a fantastic evening! Hope she will come back to NC soon!
Thank you, Diana Gabaldon !
Nice vids, keep up the great work. You should use promosm it will help you get the views you deserve!
Outlander…..fantastic book series and film series
I just found out that I am a descendant of Benjamin Merrill on my dad's mother's side. Wow!
Me too, on the Hicks side. He is my 6th great grandfather. They killed him on.my birthday too! Wonder if we are related? That side of the family is huge. Generations of big farm families!
@@leeannehicks9125 do you know of any relatives with the last name Tate?
Hi, cousins! I am, as well. He and Jemima had a ton of children, so I think there are many, many of us. Evaline Merrill and John Thompsin were my great grandparents (Williamson County, IL).
@@leeannehicks9125 That's so strange. He was tried on my birthday (the day before yours). Also, his wife Jemima (who remarried) was born on one of our birthdays if memory serves. I live that he stood to his convictions.
Great talk Mike.
Great talk Chris.
Awesome video! 6th Great-Grandson of Benjamin Merrill and multiple early Rowan County/central colonial NC settlers.
Well howdy cousin, I am his 6th generation granddaughter!
@@leeannehicks9125 howdy 👋🏻
I am a also related to Benjamin Merrill
Great account
Good vid. Harmon Cox is my 5th GG. One of 6 pardoned and spared from hanging as I understand.
Terrific video. Loved having you read the saucy comments of the court cases from that day.
What a great video - I can't tell you how much I look forward to these - the footage of the swollen Pole Cat Creek was terrific. I wish you would publish these locales on a map and show a video about how you found these locations.
This is terrific - thanks - most people think battles and whatnot end quickly - but really things were tense for a while and could have erupted into another battle.
Really do appreciate this series. Very informative. Thank you
