Awwww, you are too kind!
What is the chemical.name of the stiffner please
@@davidwilson9471 Hi, It's "Hi-Tack Fabric Stiffener (Non-Toxic). The Hi-Tack brand can only be purchased via Etsy or eBay as it is manufactured in the UK. All the Best!
Nice job. Thank you very much. I've learn a lot
@@davidwilson9471 My pleasure.
Thank you so much, for explaining and walking us through the process! I ordered the dye months ago, but haven't had the nerve to try it! I know I can do it now!!!💚💚💚
@@brendaturner8064 So satisfying knowing I could be helpful in some small way, please feel free to check back-in to let us know how it went for you! ☺️
Now it's fact you've got skills: Now handle your business!
Can't see anything, why are you doing this in this form. Expand the picture so we can see.
Thank you James, I really appreciate your feedback, I will have to work on my tech skills for all to see.
My mom has the exact same needle cushion.
@@ipurpleyou5227 Really? I bet she loves it. I love mine!
Awesome job 👏
@@EleonoraNods Thank you.
Great Job!!!
Thank you!
Fabric stiffener will win
The struggle is real love ur work
Thank you so much.
Next time rub a little Vaseline or oil on the cling wrap before mounding so you can remove the hat easy from the block
Thank you, I will surely try that!
Appreciate your video. Just the thing! Thank you!
Thank you for watching.
Fabric stiffener win?
Yes fabric stiffener definitely wins if I'm wearing the material against my skin.
Thanks! That was just what I needed to dye my white fascinator teal. I'm glad I had the ingredients left over from a long ago project. You're awesome!
That's awesome, my pleasure. Can I also share that I just learned thru trial and error that if your fabric is pre-stiffened with synthetic alcohol based glues, the natural dye does not penetrate or transfer the color pigment. I hope you had success in dyeing your fabric. All the best!
That's good to know! Each part of this fascinator hat took the dye differently, but I like it anyway. Do you make hats?@@tossedhat
@fordF500 I find perfection in the imperfection in most of my outcomes...yes I have a hat shop, my work can be viewed at www.tossedhat.com. in the future I would like to do a live on my channel and make and style has with those who enjoy making and we view each other's masterpieces.
I would turn the end up!!! You’re doing a great creative style.
Great 💡 idea. Thank you!
Good to know 👍
😂 Good idea

This was educational. Thank you. Never knew.
Thank you for tuning in . Glad you enjoyed it!
Where do you find cotton gloves?
Hi Fran, Thank you for tuning in. You can get 100% Cotton gloves from CVS or Amazon. hopes this helps.
Great job
Thank you.
That’s super interesting! Thanks for the video. 🙏 Have you ever tried covering an existing Sinamay shape with another type of fabric? I’m new to hat-making and am trying to find a shortcut to create a big saucer hat and keep it light.
Hi Alexandra, Thanks for tuning-in. I haven't covered sinamay with any other fabrics yet. I'm enjoying exploring what fabrics can be used, if you have any blocking fabric suggestions, please share. I'd love to explore.
I wish you lived near me. I need help with my hair
Awww....well anytime you're in the area...look me up at www.mytousledhair.com...and I gotchu mama!
i love this video! thank you ❤️😊
Awww you are most welcome. Thank you for your kind words.
Correction: I said magnetic electrical tape which was the incorrect description. You want Magnetic Strip Tape that comes with a built-in adhesive tape. (I have listed the Amazon link in order to purchase the correct one used in my short): 1. Black and white polka dot padded garment hanger: amzn.to/3DxB7oE 2. Magnetic Strip Tape: amzn.to/474JsO7 Magnetic Pin 3. Cuff/Wristlet: amzn.to/450qlmz
Take your time; make small partings and small snips.

Hi Chi, thanks for stopping in.😀
👀🙂❤️🎉from Chicago.
Hi Angela, Thanks for the tuning in. Enjoy the rest of your evening.😀
Looks like an ern
I've personally never seen an Urn in bright colors like Cherry Red and Kelly Green, but the shape is similar to some Urns.
...and I guess if it looks like an Urm, that could be a good thing. You don't have to worry about anyone stealing it.😀
Where can I get one?
Hi Sis, If you hit the the 3 dots on my 'Short'...it will will take you to the Description of my video and I provided the links for the decorative coin banks there. Enjoy!
Yes I have it with the fusible bias tape for stain glass effect on a quilt.. it just right for the job & pressing open 1/4inch seams Thanks for sharing
Thank you👍😀
That’s a great idea! Trying it rn ❤❤ Also I love the hat did you make it😊
Thank you so much, yes I make custom Fascinators and would love to make you one doll. You can select which colors you would like at my Etsy shop: www.etsy.com/listing/1521269599. That's funny Jessica. Yes I have done the same before. I hope you get some good rest soon☺
How much ash additive?
Hi Lynn, Thank you for your question. On the bottom, I did 2 grams of Dark Intense Ash with 8N and on the top portion, I did 1gram of Dark Intense Ash with a 9N. (This was breaking the rules) because you are suppose to use Light Intense Ash with 8N/9N, be sure to let it process the full 20 minutes. (Because my starting point was an intense copper I needed to bend the rules a bit). If you're not dealing with Intense Copper hair, I would recommend following the rules to start by using 4 grams of Light Intense Ash with 9N and 6grams of Light Intense Ash with 8N, you can always add more ash as you go. Good Luck! Please like the video and follow. Thank you!
Thank you for this - where are you based? Could you forward your website please?
It is my pleasure. Thank you for asking. My website is www.mytousledhair.com. I hope you have a fabulous summer!

I'm a new subbie by the way 😊
You ain't lied!!!!!! I have been speaking to a client for months and today, because they FINALLY got how important leave in conditioner is they promised to start using it. I guess sometimes the information we share with clients repeatedly doesn't go in.
You are so right...sometimes my guests will make discoveries about something I had been telling them for years. Sometimes it takes repetition and the information coming from more than one source....its a selfless job...but only the most caring of us are cut-out for it. You are appreciated 'Marcials Blends Hair'...if no one has told you lately.
@@tossedhat I genuinely appreciate you. Thank you so very much for your sincere encouragement.
I really enjoyed your great review and expert advise on how to use these products. I never knew about how to use the leave in conditioner before and after blow drying. Definitely great to know and make s a big difference. Thanks!
You have to let me know after a month of continual use of a leave-in conditioner. How your texture looks and feels. I know you can do it and most importantly...your hair is waiting for you to do it!
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Nice
I'm glad you approve.
You’re so cute I can’t stand it!!!
