I walked away from a 15 month relationship. 3 years later we both realized nothing was out here and I left because I was 27 & wanted marriage & a baby. He already has 2 kids who he has full custody of with 2 different women who used him & are deadbeat mothers so he got with me and said “marriage is just a piece of baby” but was engaged to his 2nd bm and said he was trying something new. We both have grown in these 3 yrs but we are starting to debate again because my deal breakers remain the same except id sacrifice not having another child however he says he sees me in his future but doesn’t state as a WIFE!

I had the exact same situation. met him on a Christian dating website. we were just friends for 3 months ( my choice) then decided to be exclusive, set boundaries (no sex before marriage). got baptised and took communion. 10 months in to dating I asked would he get married he said he wasnt sure. I said he needed to decide if he definitely sisnt want marriage then no point continuing. 3 months later I led the same, same answer. he said he wanted a family with me and I was the right person but want sure about marriage. said it was trust issues. 2 weeks later then said he did want marriage. a month later that asked me to be his wife and said he would get me a ring and propose. 2 weeks later 'I've got doubts' went back and forth for 3 months keep changing his mind. like you I ended up sleeping with I'm to try for a baby too. but God like to me in the church about when Elizabeth and Zachariah have a baby in old age ' and they were both righteous'. I knew i would not get pregnant and by Gods protection I didn't. After 1 yr and 6 months he said he didnt think he would ever be sure.! it caused so much spiritual and emotional damage and took 8 months to get over it. It is not worth settling or compromising your values. find out on the first date what their intentions are and if there are any signs or gut feelings - leave. also dont look at potential hoping they will change. look at where they are now.

Thank you for doing this video. I'm not a virgin AND a daughter of a pastor and entering my SECOND marriage. I was not a virgin when I got married the first time but I felt there was a part of myself spiritually I hadn't given away to other men. The young man I'm marrying isn't a virgin either BUT I have known him for 10 years. We were recently reunited after not seeing each other for almost 7 years. We had sex twice this y until we BOTH decided to be celibate until our wedding night. I sensed things were different for us this time and I knew not to give into my lustful desires with him. He even wanted me to move in with him at one point. I declined and moved into my own apartment. It has been a season of preparation for me. If he really loved me he would see beyond sex and get to know me for who I am. It was really hard because we remembered our sex lives. But I wanted to do things right this time.
