These NC-230 "scameras" advertised motion detection and video recording and I (wrongfully) assumed that at $70 each this would be the LEAST they would do. What this scam company and these paid shills don't tell you is that they don't do both together and only take sporadic pictures IF and when they manage to properly detect motion. False advertising and a rip off if you ask me, I had property stolen right in front of these things and have was left with no proof. Thanks for nothing TP-LINK but my private recordings left on your "secure" cloud servers for the CCP to database and analyze. I'm NEVER buying another product from these scammers again.

My redmi note 2 is still working fine except the power button problem, I stick a very thin plastic between the exterior button and inner button to increase the sensitivity of the small point of contact but the sticker will shift from time to time.

Nice video, just managed to change my button with the help of this. As far as parts go, bought the button + a hardware kit for ~2€ in alixpress, the only thing extra i needed was some tweezers that i got from the missus, it's an easy job dont pay anyone to do this repair. Thanks

I was thinking of replacing the button since it took more pressure to wake screen. But the button without the protective case and back cover works every time I felt the click. The button work most of the time(sometime don't work when press at the edge even click is felt) without the protective case but with back cover, and it don't works most of the time with protective case and back case even I pressed very hard. It seem to me the button works well and the silver button at the back cover looks fine when inspected. So I can't decide which to be replaced… And I found a solution after trying a few method. The solution is a strip of cloth tape cut according to the size of the button (include power button and both volume button together in a long rectangular shape with some cut between the decrease volume button and power button as the design of the phone required) to ensure the even pressure at both volume button(since my decrease volume button also have some problem after months of using it as power button alternative) the increase volume button also need to be included as the silver button cover is linked. So if you have same problem as mine, try this almost costless method by adding things between the button and case until the button really cannot function.

I do have a similar setup where I programmed an arduino to listen to the steering wheel and connect to the tablet via Bluetooth as HID. I think that's more convenient. But I really like the camera part of your project. Do you have any more documentation about how you solved that?

This is an awesome setup! Do you have any pictures of how you wired the joy conn? Did you wire it from where it connected to the factory head unit? I'm getting my nexus 9 installed in my car and I want to set up a joy conn for the controls.
