Travel Moth wants your holiday footage to add to a growing catalogue of short, silent travelogues.
Next time you're on holiday or visiting a museum, historic monument of famous landmark, whip out your SLR, Camcorder, compact camera or phone and shoot one to two minutes of footage of the scene before you. HD is best.
Simply follow examples of others on this channel but basically think like a moth. Run with the camera and freeze the shot by resting on object facing a viewpoint. Then hold the scene for 5 secs and run to the next static shot. All in one take. Simple.
Next, send the raw file to travelmoth@gmail.com using the free file sending service We Transfer.
Travel Moth will then edit your footage and give you a name check at the end.
So, get out there and start shooting.

There are beach restaurants :) We stayed recently and had some wonderful meals.
Any recommendations? We are going to Khao Lak in four weeks.....thank you
Mmmm, some of the best places are run by locals - in the town itself, if it is full of local's it's usually good ;). The best green curry I have ever eaten was at a little place along the beach from Beyond - across the rickety wooden bridge and it's the first place you come to, set back up from the beach a little :) So cheap and the food was so tasty. Krua Thai I think it was. Enjoy your holiday, we had a fabulous time.

Superb video. We stayed at the Beyond Resort in February 2017 based on this video and absolutely loved it and the nearby beach restaurants around it.

To be honest, I did not like this resort - it is tiny, small, too many people around the pool - beach area. Just few steps on the beach and you get the wide nice private beach of Pullman hotel with same price category, but far far better quality.
This was a great insight. We're off to the Beyond Resort in November and can't wait. We really enjoyed watching your video.

just letting you know that your review made me book the beyond resort which is the main reason why we came here.... no kids! drinks at the swim up bar. Day #2 - thought i should thank you for the review and for showing the restaurants around, on the beachside just 5 min walk from Beyond. Loving it, there's no point in leaving the Resort. Nothing like Phuket...peace and quiet, rest & relaxed!!!
Absolutely love vids like this. Have booked a week at manathai in nov. You think it's ok or should I go to beyond or pullmans instead?
