Moses was called "the God" [2] of the believers (Luke 2:52: GOD forgave Jesus' sins and was "charitable" with him). Doubting Thomas called Jesus "My lord and my God". The OT calls every believer "God" and "Son of God". Jesus even told the people that why do they have a problem with him calling himself [2] "son of God" when the scriptures calls each one of them "God" (John 10:34-36, Psalm 82:6)? Let us read the Verses: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God (EL Gibor), The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with justice and righteousness from hence forth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. (Isaiah 9:6-7)" It is quite unfortunate that in the old Jewish culture, people used to be named "Godly" names. This is quite misleading and deceiving to Christians when they try to define the deity of Jesus (Luke 2:52: GOD forgave Jesus' sins and was "charitable" with him). Psalm 82:6 "I said, 'You are "gods" (Elohim; plural to El); you are all sons of the Most High.' " "gods" here in Hebrew is "Elohim", which is plural of "EL". It is the same exact thing as "EL" used for Jesus in Isaiah 9:6, since "gods" is a combination of several "EL"s. And as clearly shown here, for someone to be called "god" or "God" in the Bible it wouldn't make him GOD Almighty Himself, the LORD or Jehovah. I also want to point out that any "Son of GOD" in the Bible is a "god" or "God".

I disagree, because all those who actually were monotheistic were hunted down and massacred by the pagan roman church. Ebionites and others are to mention. I disagree. I think people in general do have a need to believe in something. This goes for self-proclaimed atheists too. They simply direct it to evolution, science and other things. Where such concepts begin to have a spiritual meaning for many and instead of science being a means to study the material world, it becomes metaphysical in its own self. Been there, tried that. Islam simply redirects that human drive to its correct place: the creator of everything.

As an anthropologist, the professor deals with human traits. Just as children develop their instincts as they grow, the tendency to bind a higher power to the world around them is also consistent. This stays with all humans throughout their lives. They just direct it to different religious beliefs. But the point is that it does exist and Islam is claiming to be the truth from God that will satisfy the religiousity instinct completely.

Both are not the same. The Arabic Christians call Jesus as Allah. That doesn't mean they are referring to that person of Allah of Quran. Never. Taqiyya i mainstream Islam betyder at man taler usandt for at redde sit eget liv i en nødsituation og ikke lystløgne. Mange lærde siger at man skal tale sandt selv hvis éns liv er i fare. Profeten Muhammad fvoh sagde: løgn er ikke en troendes attribut. Du kan finde vers i Koranen om korrumpering af tidligere skrifter bl.a i 2:75,79. Og ikke mindst fra de kristne selv som indrømmer det. Se bart ehrman og andre.

Det er ikke slik at vers har blitt fjernet og erstattet med noe annet. Det har blitt lagt til 12 vers i Mark 16:8 og et par steder i Johannes evangeliet. Jeg tror det aller fleste oversettelser har noen form for fotnoter som informerer leserne om det. Dersom et manuskript er mangelfullt bør det absolutt ikke være tillatt å legge til "For å reparere dilemma" Det er det som kalles korrupsjon. Men jeg tror ikke oppriktig at kristne mister troen pågrunn av tre vers som er lagt til. Men resten er i følge Bart Ehrman intakt. Jeg er av den oppfatningen at både kristne og Muslimer har seriøse problemer de ikke greier å svare på. Nå skal høre her. Muslimer i møte med kristne kommer alltid med et spørsmål som går igjen og igjen. Hvorfor er bibelen din på Gresk når Jesus snakket Aramaisk. Kristne kan ikke svare på det. Så spør jeg som ikke kristen muslimene hvorfor Koranen bruker Greske ord for det nye testamentet ( INJEEL) og forskjellige navn på personer, for eksempel Ilias som er et Gresk ord.. Isa for Jesus eller Yeshua eller på arabisk Yashu. Det er helt vanvittig at Koranen bruker Greske ord. Når det gjelder hellige skrifter så tror jeg faktisk at det ikke finnes noen som er 100% bevarte selv om påstanden er der. Paul called himself a liar in the parts of the bible he wrote. Feel free check it out.
