Thank you so much. It still looks beautiful and so unique. Great question as well. The areas that did not adhere good, I just put some superglue to hold it down. Most of the areas did great with adhering to the table.

I used arte resin (home depot). Yes, you can still touch and use heat gun. Resin adheres to glass very well. I would not keep this item outside. Due to the weather it may crack. Yes, it works great. I would suggest to put it on a bit thicker than I did. 🤣 but come off so easy. 🦋

Great question. It will leave a small ridge, which is great if you want to show each individual wave. If you want the waves to blend and not have an individual ridge, try putting a clear top coat. 🦋 Hope this helps.

Hi. I always have a mask on and I have the air purifier on as well. 😊 My voice sounds clear because I did a voice over. I think if you look at 5:14 you can kinda see my respirator in the resin reflection. You are completely right, safety is a must. 🦋💪 thank you so much for pointing that out. Yeaaaa. So happy to hear. I absolutely LOVE your work. But boy am I struggling. The 2 shades of blues are one blob and the white for waves is a blur lol it’s pretty mosaic BUT not what I am trying to achieve

If you do not want colors to blend too much pour them with space in between each other. Give space and blending will not happen as much. .Also, mica is lighter than paste, so be careful with that as well. You can also wait 20 mins ir so to lay the resin, let it thicken some. Hope this helps 🦋

Mixing resin with the hardener creates a chemical reaction, and a harmful gas is released in the process. You need to protect your lungs and health. Whenever you work with resin you should protect your skin and lungs. Please be mindful with the respirator you pick. Pick one that will help with organic vapors. Amazon has some good ones that are around 25.00 bucks.

Just Resin: titanium white. Works well in the resin and I use it mostly on all my ocean projects ❤️

You can use a brush, finger to apply a thin layer. Small note, if you put it on thick, it will take longer to dry. All you really need is a thin layer. It will dry pretty fast. Typically I’ll put it on let it dry 4-5 mins, flip it over and start working. ☺️

Thank you for your replies. I am so disappointed in my first attempt at doing this technique with the waves.Mine had no foamy appearance. It was actually the first ever resin pour for me.I used dollar tree resin so maybe that played a factor in it.$5.00 for 12 ounces. I used castin craft white pigment and was hoping to get some good looking waves but alas it didn't work for me. What resin where you using?

Ohhh, I tried many times before. 😂 I did find that I like Stone Coat Resin (no lingering fumes) and Just Resin titanium white. Did you make a video?
