I just bought a Yamaha decal sticker. Removed the grommets and stuck it on over the holes. Fuck that goofy ass tail light.

How are the decel pops with the Delkevic and stock air intake? I tried a Dean Speed Just the Tip and the decel pops and loudness was too much for me.

How was the backfire? Assuming you kept the stock air intake. I put the Dean Speed Just the Tip and it was too loud for me and the backfiring felt out of control. I took it off and went back to the stock with the baffle removed. Really thinking about getting this Delkevic.

Just bought an SRAD for a winter project. Plan on doing a nut and bolt restoration it. Looking forward to watching the rest of your series on this. Cheers mate

So, no matter the weight of the rider, for the back, the desired difference while upright vs while sitting on it should be -40mm right? I just bought the exact same bike and I've been told the the suspension has to be adjusted for my weight and that this comes with a preload for a guy around 95, 100 kg... and I'm in featherweight class :)) (64kg)

I have the exact bike over here in Florida. I’ve been slowly restoring it. It in has 18,000 miles on it and is in pretty good shape.

Definitely agree with what you've said, the tank and the gears are my biggest bug bearer but I do love my bolt. Although I do like where the key is on these. And getting parts in the UK is a struggle but on the flipside it makes you think and actually create yourself for a fully personal touch.

i must say i love my bolt as for the tank most of bolt owners are riding around town and short trips if you want a bigger tank just buy a bigger bike with a bigger tank and the seat order a corbin seat it will fill the gap , and as for power how fast do you kneed to go just get a sport bike if you need speed , why not enjoy the ride and have fun ..

I couldn’t agree more about the gearing...I’m eventually going to break the shifter looking for that 6th gear lol

i had mine power coated with metal flakes and i even power coated the heat shield at thebottom i dont understand why no one paints that one any way looks good
