Great stuff Jim! Love the Nolan ball! Dyar ball is great too!
New Subscriber. Great video and fantastic autographed baseballs. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed. Look forward to your future videos.
Love the Jeter card. I PC him and think he was one a great player and played the game the right way.
Hi Paul. I agree, Jeter was an awesome player and nice guy who played the game with passion. Do you have that card in your collection.
@5714Collector I don't believe I do actually.
Beautiful stuff Jim! Enjoyed the video!
Hi Matt, thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
Amazing stuff Jim! Can’t wait to hear your ballpark stories! Awesome balls and cards. Love that magazine!!! Thanks again bro, catch you soon…. 🤛🏻
Hey Brent. I have a huge collection of baseball magazines in the collection. I am already thinking about the ballpark stories. We will talk soon. Take care.
Now that’s cool Jim! I don’t have one, I’ll have to keep my eyes out. Thanks for the shout out and sharing! 😊
Hi Theo, you were the 1st person I thought of when I was getting the Clemente out of my curio cabinet. Glad you enjoyed, I appreciate you watching.
Nice cards, and I love that issue no1 of Baseball Cards Mag, in fact I still have that issue from when I got it on the news stand.
Hey Mike, It's amazing when you think about those magazines. They are over 40 years old. I enjoy looking thru those from time to time. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for the shoutout Jim!! Awesome Ryan postcard along with the special story!! I appreciate you sharing cards and memorabilia from your collection!! That Clemente figurine is amazing!! Neat autograph baseballs!! I picked up a Nolan Ryan autograph baseball from the Ryan Foundation about ten years ago!! You have shared that Ryan is your favorite player to collect but who is your favorite team?? Keep up the great content!!
Hi Ken. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. My favorite team is the Baltimore Orioles. My dad is a huge O's fan too and he is already looking forward to spring training. I have been following the Orioles and watching baseball since the late 60's. I enjoy answering your questions, please fire away.
@ I’m from Minnesota and have followed the Twins as a kid starting with the 1965 World Series vs the Dodgers. I remember very well the playoff series the Twins had against the Orioles in the early 1970’s where Baltimore destroyed Minnesota. My favorite baseball player growing up was Harmon Killebrew though I always liked Brooks Robinson too. Are you from the Baltimore area Jim?
Love the Jeter card!
I like that card too. Topps did a great job on that one.
Cool stuff Jim
Hi Orlando. Thanks for watching. I like making the video's and showing my collection.
Jim, thanks for the shout out; you are too kind. That Nolan postcard, is it glossy on the front? Those are awesome baseballs (especially the one from field of dreams).
Hi Russ. I had to double check the postcard. It's not glossy. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I had to show those two Ryan stickers.
Cool video
Glad you liked and thank you for watching and commenting.
What a great photo of Tom Terrific! Thanks for sharing Jim!
Hey Sammy, thanks for taking time to watch and commenting. I am looking forward to watching the livestream later tonight. Those photos are awesome.
Nice cards!
Hi Matt, thanks for watching and commenting.
Great gifts and a great way to say thank you by sharing what you got. That picture of Seaver and Ryan retired in Mets jackets is awesome! Thanks for the video!
Hi Jay. I had never seen that picture before. I thought it was pretty awesome. Thanks for watching.
Nice cards, Jim
@@dougsrailfanvideos1244 Thank you. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
Thanks for sharing your generous gifts from David!! Is Nolan Ryan your favorite player to collect? What one card or piece of memorabilia of his that you have is your favorite and what are you still looking? Always enjoy your channel!!
Hi Ken. Nolan Ryan is my number 1 favorite player to collect. My favorite Ryan item is a 74 Angels postcard that I received from Nolan when I wrote him a fan letter in 1974. I am looking for Nolan's early O PEE CHEE cards. I need to replace my 74 Kellogg's Ryan card. I have two of them but both of them are cracked. Glad that you enjoyed the video.
@ Thanks for replying to my questions Jim!! I hope you find these treasures to add to your collection soon!!
Do you collect Nolan Ryan. If so, which card is your favorite.
@@5714CollectorI collect Hall of Fame rookie cards from 1950’s through the 1980’s. My favorite Ryan card is his rookie card which I hope to someday afford. Thanks for asking. Keep up the good work Jim!!
Great gifts Jim! 🤛🏻
Hi Brent. I love the two Ryan/Seaver pictures. Just awesome to receive such great items. Hope you have a great weekend.
Great video. I always loved those sets as a kid growing up. Very cool video! Watching this video gives me ideas of some things I could possibly do a video on in the future with a few odd ball sets I have.
Hi Matt. That would be cool to see. I am going over right now and subscribing to your channel.
Very thoughtful & great gifts
It was pretty awesome. Thanks for watching.
Really cool gift. It feels pretty awesome when someone is inspired by what you are doing enough to send you something out of the blue. Thanks for sharing it with us Jim.
Hi John, I agree with you 100%. I'm glad you enjoyed watching. Thanks for commenting.
Great video!
Glad that you enjoyed it.
Thanks for sharing Jim! Man! Pacific really put out a LOT of cards of Ryan! Nice additions👍🏻
Hey Jay, hope all is well. Pacific did a lot of cards featuring Nolan.
Great collection. W video
Congratulations on your Ryan pickups Jim! Awesome cards to add the your growing collection!! Enjoy your cards and your commentary!!
Hi Ken, I appreciate you taking the time watch and commenting.
Awesome stuff Jim! I love anything Pacific, and the other stuff was great too. Hopefully we’ll all be able to do vid soon if life settles down a bit 🤛🏻
Hey Brent. Looking forward to getting together and doing a video with you guys. I'm going to get my Ryan stickers out and show some of them soon. Thanks for watching and take care.
Nice Nolan stuff. Great pick ups.
Great show Jim. I have plenty of Nolan stickers. Those McCormick cards can get pricey when buying separate, but it is a cool collection. You have a lot of magazine cards!
Hi Russ. I'm going to show some more of my magazine cards that I have in my collection. I was lucky to find those recently on EBAY. Pacific did a great job on these. Appreciate the comment.
@ I have quite a few magazine cards both in the magazine and loose
Definitely 2 books I will add to my list! Never knew of that Nolan set with the gold sig! Can't believe it! Haha I do love me some Pacific cards! Thanks for the showcase Jim
Pacific did some great looking cards featuring Nolan. I'm always looking to add those to my collection. Thanks for watching.
Great cards Jim! They look to be in great condition for a tough set.
Most of the cards are in pretty good condition. The only one that is cracked is the Willie Mays card. I'm hoping to get a nice one as a replacement. Thanks for commenting and watching.
Nice pickups Jim! The SSPC is a unique card.
I like that SSPC set. I am thinking about buying a set of them in the future.
Great set, Jim! I’m a sucker for anything 3D. You were dropping some knowledge today too! So awesome. And ending it with that Nolan was perfect! 🤛🏻 😍
Hi Brent. The Kellogg's cards have a bit of shine to them. I have been a fan of them for a long time. The Ryan bobblehead is cool. I am trying to find a spot to in my cabinet for it. Have a great week.
I think there was an issue with Braves players appearing in Kellogg’s cards. Maybe contractual which could explain the Garr card. Notice there was never an Aaron or Cepeda Kellogg’s card.
@@SlipKid1975 It must have been an issue with contracts. You make a great point.
Love Kellogg’s cards. I have the 70-72, 75 and 78-83. Have to make sure to keep these cards flat and in a temperature controlled room to avoid cracking.
I have been pretty lucky with the cards. Only had a couple crack over the years.
Another great video Jim!! Thanks for sharing your treasures!! You have quite a collection of Kelloggs cards!! I remember collecting these cards as a kid and still have them in my collection!! Keep up the great content!!
Kellogg's did a great job on these cards. I am always looking for one's that I need to add to my collection. Thanks for watching.
These are great! I have a few, but they are in very poor condition. Yours are great! Great bobble head!!!Thanks for the video and thanks for sharing!
Hi Jay. Thanks so much, appreciate it and thanks for commenting. I saw that bobblehead on the HOF website and I knew that I had to buy it, LOL.
Jim what a great collection! I'm just starting to look in to the 70's kelloggs sets. This was a great overview.
I will find a dealer or two that sell these cards at the Chantilly show. I need to replace my 74 Ryan in the set. The two that I have are cracked.
I love the Kellogg’s cards. I have 4 sets in the 70’s- 80’s.
I agree with you, the Kellogg's cards are awesome, and I enjoy looking at them.
Awesome set Jim. I love the Kellogg cards. They hard to find without cracking. It’s impressive you have the entire set, and they all appear pretty sharp. Your baseball knowledge really shines through as you know things about everyone in that set. Awesome work!
Hi Russ, I really like the Kellogg's cards. I wish that they still made them. All of those cards are in good shape with the exception of the Mays. Thank you for watching, I really appreciate it.
Fantastic set Jim! I really enjoy the Kellogg sets. They are really great looking sets. Thanks for sharing my friend!
Hi Jason. Do you have any of the Kellogg's cards in your collection. Please show them in one of your upcoming video's if you do.
Nice set
Thank you, appreciate you watching.
Hey, Jim, cool stuff! Those are always fun to add some variety. Impressive collection!
I appreciate the comment. I am going have to replace the Mays card in the future.
More great stuff! The wall looks like there’s more there. Must be the camera angle. Looks great though! Thanks for the video!
@@JayAvgVintageCollector Hi Jay. I changed out the light bulbs and they are a lot brighter. Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Thanks again, Jim! Great stuff as always.
Hi Mike. Thanks for watching the video. Glad that you enjoyed it.
Crazy all the parallels, inserts, etc. I do Griffey Jr. Also many, many of his cards. Thx for sharing.
Hi Dave. Griffey is another great player with some awesome cards.
Those are all great cards Jim. In your book, does the author talk about printing plate inserts in the 1991 pacific packs? The PSA checklist and tcdb checklists are great for Nolan cards. TCDB covers licensed and unlicensed cards where PSA is usually just licensed
Hi Russ. I am about 2/3 of the way through reading the book and that has not been mentioned. I will let you if I come across it. It's a great book. I'm enjoying it.
Fun stuff Jim. A bunch of Nolan items I was not familiar with. That Advil pack is very cool!😊
Hi Jason, one think about collecting Nolan Ryan. He has been on a ton of different items. Thanks for watching.
Cool Ryan’s Jim! Glad you got on with Mike. If all goes well, I’ll be on with Sammy on Thursday night
Hi Brent, thank you, I appreciate it. I enjoyed doing the livestream, had a great time. I have to work early on Friday morning, but I will catch you on Sammy's channel when I get off work. Have fun. Sammy and Jason do a great show, I hope to get on at some point.
Thanks for sharing your Ryan collectibles Jim!! You have an awesome Ryan collection!! Keep up the great content!!
Hi Ken, I always appreciate you taking time to watch and commenting, thank you so much.
Good stuff Jim
Hi Orlando, thank you so much for watching and commenting. Looking forward to seeing those 71 Topps baseball cards.
I used to love getting those cards inside the magazines.
Hi John. I have something like the 60 -70 issues of baseball cards magazine with the cards still inside. I never thought about removing them. The only time I did that was if I had two of the same issue. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it.
@ wow! I don’t have that many
@@MrJmangini I will have to do a video showing some more of them.
