Twinbee was unwittingly the first KONAMI franchise I played in my life, and I find it sad in hindsightTwinbee died for the beatmania name (cough IIDX cough), to the point the Tokimeki Idol cover version of Twin memories used DDR as a debut preview instead of IIDX. No wonder Twin memories W ended up becoming my first-EVER AAA in my life on DDR.

quite late I arrived, probably, but is never late to experience the Twinbee Animations that I watched since 2009. All I can say, thank you so much for the subtitles, it really made me now fully understand now! Despite these series, including the Ganbare Goemon animations, were so obscure back in the day, for some reason, YT recommended only the opening cutscene of the Twinbee ~Winbee 1/2 Panic~, while for the Ganbare Goemon Animation, was already uploaded in TH-cam, though I watch it without subtitles 😅 but I find it interesting. The Twinbee animation series however, I found out they were uploaded years ago in another platform, called Nico Nico Douga, once again, no subs at all, but the animation, really catch my attention, and I started to scavenging in the late 2009, and early 2010, for more content there!

Wow, Twinbee was a major flagship for KONAMI.

This is a fever dream song for me... there was this flash game from a very long time ago, nearly 21 years... Twinbee vs Pokemon? Twinbee vs Pikachu? I couldn't find it... but this was the song they used... So glad to hear it again. A weird childhood moment satisfied.

マリ姉×矩形波倶楽部後期の名曲なのですが、ゲームソフトがあまり売れなかったので幻と化しているこの曲。 著作権がコナミにあるからか、初期マリ姉の楽曲陣と共に未だサブスク化されていないのがとても残念。

Pastel is such a cinnamon roll. I'm a newcomer of the twinbee series who is planning to play more games from the series, and she's my favorite pilot by far. I really wasnt expecting the ending though. It caught me really off guard when I first watched this. Although, after watching the other paradise eps, I really shouldnt be surprised since they basically made her the center of fanservice in this.

Fun fact: TwinBee himself and Light's father, Annamon, the adorably quirky jet's original pilot and the main "protagonist" (and I'm using that term very loosely) of the original 1985 game, hail from a distant planet inhabited by sentient objects. Turns out, TwinBee's not just a walking, talking starfighter: he's a full-blown alien! Pretty cool, right?! In fact, I even took some inspiration from TwinBee for some of my own original characters.

Só acho que essa legenda merece uma revisão. Vou baixar aqui e fazer uns ajustes.

I've seen the title of this song translated in so many different ways. I know it's originally "Bokura no Suteki" (僕らのステキ) and I've seen it translated as "Our Wonderful," "Our Charm," "We're Awesome," and now "Our Beautiful." Guess no one can really agree on the translation.

Man, was Konami a music company in the 90s too? They published so many CDs that were just professional arrangements of songs from their own games
