What the hell happened to Jon Salemi?
It's pretty legit that they put that kind of extended stage thing out there beyond the monitors. I was there in '21 and that was the security area. It was hard for the vocalists to get out into the crowd.

I have a Samsung phone that records in 4k. I purchased it for this reason. I love recording but my phone quality in the past one wasn't as good as it could be. I looked into different cameras, but settled on upgrading the phone and a hand held gimble.

So who started this ultra melodic style of metalcore? Undying, Fordirelifesake, Shai Hulud, these dudes. Big fan of that weird little subgenre of a subgenre.
I don't know who started it but in the late 90s early 2000s it was the signature midwest style.

Seems criminal they were slotted into a 40 minute afternoon spot, don't get me wrong there was an absurd amount of talent here, but given the occasion it seems like one of the later evening places would have been more fitting. *Saw they played a midnight to 1am show the last night...that's pretty damn apt 🤘
